I have been working at REZ-1 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Family Friendly environment, great work/life balance, great culture, open door leadership, great team environment, wonderful people, tons of peer recognition

    Cons

Somewhat recently bought by a company with a much different culture and it's put a strain on REZ-1, it's a struggle to keep up with enterprise growth plus new business expected from new investment owners

    Pros

Very good work / life balance.
Company is interested in its people and has various HR events for them each month
Open communication lines all the way to the CIO. Open door is not just a policy in words

    Cons

Upper management biases of particular vendors gets in the way of good decision making
A bit too confined to "This is the way we have always done it."

    Pros

Company treat its employees well. There is a lot of room for advancement through internal job postings.

    Cons

Industry is pretty narrow so some of the knowledge built here isn't particularly transferable to other companies or industries.

    Pros

    - Awesome "get stuff done" attitude from leadership down through the organization
    - Open office environment
    - Forward minded technologically

    Cons

    - Location doesn't necessarily work for everyone
    - Brand isn't household so it can be difficult to get a sense of what it's like without being there

    Advice to Management

    - Keep doing what you are doing and promoting an open, straightforward culture
    - Continue to do things to showcase what it's like "under the hood" - it's great there!

    I have been working at REZ-1 full-time

    Pros

Plenty of room for growth and opportunity. A relatively flat company without a lot of levels and red tape. If you have an idea or want to make a change then the company will listen and leadership is always looking to try new things and take chances.

    Cons

I don't live that close to Wellesley so my commute isn't as pleasant as I'd like it to be. The sales cycle for new business can be extensive and you have to be very patient.

    Advice to Management

Continue to stress people over process and ensure the growth doesn't change the culture

    I worked at REZ-1 full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Has good relationships with some clients.
    Can wear jeans to work.
There is a cafe in the office park and convenient location.

    Cons

Although REZ-1 just updated their software product. It is still very dated and does not compare well to software products these days.

Management is very inexperienced. They do not know how to manage and use their employees strengths.

Growth opportunities are minimal. This company is for entry level employees, looking to get their feet wet not long term growth. I'm

Product is not very competitive. Clients could create or find a much better product that would far excel at what they need.

    Salary is not competitive.

    Advice to Management

Get experience at the managerial level. This is the only way your employees and company will survive

Find ways to improve growth opportunities. It's discouraging to hard workers when there is no growth.

Find your employees strengths and utilize them.

    Pros

Most of the time, they are always willing to listen to your ideas and thoughts.
Great staff that puts pride in their work.

    Cons

Some managers not always as responsive as they should be. Better BI structure would be good. More open communication about why people leave or are let go.

    Advice to Management

Such a great company, sometimes just need to be more supportive.

    I worked at REZ-1 as a contractor

    Pros

    Office Location
    Work Hours
    Little micro managing

    Cons

Not enough transparency between management and regular employees
Sometime projects have "too much" planning

    Advice to Management

Create a friendlier environment. While everything is very professional among employees and department and nice bonuses and food is provided here and there. Its the attitude that may hold most room for improvement.
