    Pros

Good pay and 401k and health benefits and good work rotation schedule.

    Cons

Newer company that is not holding on to its field experienced people and a number of its junior corporate level persons. This will hurt growth and quality of work.

    Advice to Management

Train everyone possible to perform each job within the company below management levels.

Have a development department that works specifically to acquire project sites and coordinate finance and development with Independent Power Producers, large wind developers, community wind developers, and utilities.

Invest in Met Tower measurements, and development contracts with landowners and these sites will become the recipients of REpower turbines for many years to come guaranteeing a pipeline of projects, freeing the company from the whims of specific developers.

I worked at REpower Systems full-time

    Pros

Renewable energy, Decent products, some really nice people to work with, good benes, good location

    Cons

The company has changed course so many times it was a constant state of frustration - couldn't maintain consistency for more than 6 months before the entire org had one shake up or another. The directions that the company would choose was sometime so illogical that you would be shaken by what the future would bring - But the local management (who appeared to be afraid of losing their jobs) would keep a smile on their face and cause all subordinates to start running in circles to try to fill the new deficiencies. The amount of internal bickering and backstabbing was so rampant it seemed normal after a while. The company culture was practically non-existent and the management team would turn a blind eye to the internal bullying, badmouthing of other employees - Thankfully I didn't stay very long

    Advice to Management

Nurture a more "Team" atmosphere and try to put some harmony into the organization - try to establish a culture that helps employees feel like the company is just a place to get a paycheck

    Pros

    You can learn a lot if u r a tech/energy geek..

    Cons

terrible upper management. nothing is transperant.. doesn't value ur efforts
