I have been working at RGIS part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy tasks, Decent pay, Carpooling, travel compensation*, easy to get promoted in a matter of weeks with 6-7 week revisions for further promotion. Extremely flexible scheduling. Applying essentially gets you a job, they are quick to respond.

*travel compensation is based on a certain mileage threshold you have to hit per individual event.

    Cons

You will be driving- a lot. Unstable hours, i.e. One event may last 2 hours, while one may be 12+ hours. Long events are physically demanding, be prepared to be on your feet, on your knees, on a ladder, or even on the floor. It's easy to lose focus on life and just work all the time, even as part-time. You'll either be working through the night or all morning (based on your availability) and it's very easy to sleep your day away. Your ranked based on speed and average per hour with the ASET (Auditor, Specialist, Expert, Top Gun) system, which is flawed and needs to be revised. If you don't meet (easy to meet) performance standards, you may be demoted or terminated based on ASET rank, which leads to a pay deduction.

    Advice to Management

Better communication would be nice, lifting the ASET system and returning back to a base hourly with 6-month pay increases would be a life saver. Make sure event supervisors actually charge RM batteries beforehand.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

They make empty promises and focus on the newer employees. They do not work with the people who have been there for a bit to improve their skills. Communication is huge problem also.

    Cons

They do not communicate when someone calls out on an event which leaves you short handed and having to spend more time reassuring the customer that everything will go smooth.

    Advice to Management

    Communication

I worked at RGIS part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The work environment was good for people with flexible schedules and if one would like to work early hours. Good part time work in the evenings

    Cons

Management is awful. Favoritism manager was not compliant with company policies. Taught workers to take shortcuts so that management would receive a high bonus that did not benefit the employees, it actually reduced the time and employee worked

    Advice to Management

Corporate needs to do more audits of District Managers to ensure that work ethics are compliant with company standards. Some managers cut corners and it affects the customers audit.

I worked at RGIS (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, can have lots of hours during the beginning of the year.

    Cons

You will never know what time you get out of work.
You get paid based on how fast you work.
They force you to clock out to lunch at the worst times.
Lots of smokers in the company.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so greedy. It's not even worth working an extra hour faster. The bonus is horrible.
