I worked at RGIS part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

You can choose which shift you want to work. They'll hire just about anyone.

    Cons

Shorthanded a lot. Long hours sometimes. Pay not competitive. Turnover rate is really high. Good workers often overworked. Bad workers just kinda hang around. Managers get fired a lot. No benefits. Profits come before workers.

    Advice to Management

Pay based on productivity is a bad business model. Breeds cronyism among workers and supervisors. Seniority means nothing, but it should. Because of pennypinching your workers, the good ones leave. Pay them!!!

I worked at RGIS full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Paycheck, Mindless Work. If you are in desperate need for work and enjoy driving in rush hour every day across your district, this is the job for you.

    Cons

Long hours, Need to keep track of your time in/out to make sure they don't skim your paycheck, must complete paperwork to get full pay every week, will abuse your time, will bring you into unsafe back rooms, will not respect your personal space, prepare to be in for long shifts with no A/C on top of one another. Poor state of equipment, lack of organization, employees regularly walk off the site. Management will... have hourly employees do their job for them, will have to drive absurd distances on a regular basis, the schedule can be updated mere hours before, no consistencies in the workplace, encourage employees to speed through products but are irate when things go amiss. The management is very spiteful, will call last minute mandatory meetings while neglecting others. Will push for training to be supervisor to alleviate some of their duties.
