    Pros

Flexible, high quality, dynamic environment where management works with your strengths and weaknesses.

    Cons

You have to be willing to live with insecurity, but, in this market, there is no such thing as a permanent job.

    Advice to Management

Provide more opportunities for associate/consultant interaction.

    Pros

-Consulting jobs require the highest level of experience. Not likely that a very senior person will be asked to do low level work just for billable hours.
-Choice on what projects to take. That means no travel if you don't want and its not held against you!
-No overtime unless the client pays you for it.
-Great Managing Director and team working hard to keep you staffed between projects.

    Cons

-Little training offered or difficult to access it if available.
-Didn't feel like an employee of RGP but more connected to the client culture.

    Advice to Management

-Your model is a refreshing change from the other big firms and ensures that the right people are staffed on the right projects always. Keep up the great work and expand your service offerings.

    Pros

I have worked fro resources for over 5 years and love it. Every project is different and I am always learning new things.

If you need a lot of hand holding or if you enjoy doing the same thing over and over Resources is not for you.

    Benefits are above average

    Cons

Bench time- If you are not on a project, and you use up all of your vacation time, you do not get paid.

    Advice to Management

Good job - I am really enjoying my time here at the company. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for coming back Don Murray.

    Pros

    Creative, smart - solid people.
Unlimited opportunities to network internally to find the help you need
People are willing to help you
People are interested in one another

    Cons

The lack of formal programs, such as performance review & development initiatives, can be frustrating at times.

    Advice to Management

Be more open to new ideas & programs. Even if "it" isn't the best fit, try it and we will all learn something.

I have been working at RGP full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Very professional company to work for, with a great list of clients and projects. Along with great clients and projects, the consultants that work for Resources are world class.

    Cons

Due to the nature of project based work, advancement is slow. Not bad if you have reached your peak professionally and looking to apply your skills and just work.

    Advice to Management

Foster a sense of teamwork with clients and present turnkey solutions. Over the years, many opportunities have gone to our competitors with lessor skilled teams, who presented a team based, turnkey solution, over simply pitching man hours. Resources has a large and talented work force, which could be formed into teams (as needed) to provide better solutions to our clients, who desperately need what we can do for them.

I worked at RGP full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work with great companies, high quality talent, great alternative to either consulting on your own or working with a temp firm. Offers flexibility and allows the consultant to pick and choose their assignmens

    Cons

You need to be committed to the business model. There is no pay for time in between projects and depending on the office, you could be on the bench for a while.

    Advice to Management

Offer several different employment options for consultants. Maybe higher hourly rate in lieu of medical benefits?
