    Get involve with your day to day employees tend to their needs

    Pros

    Project rich environment, there are several areas that require improvement. There is never a lack of work to be done and management is more then willing to allow you to choose projects.

    Cons

    Very restrictive corporate structure, all investments and hiring must be approved at the board level. Major investments have been at a standstill for years.

    Advice to Management

    Need to invest in newer technologies and equipment. Need to allow plants the ability to control their own operating procedures and budgets.

    pay,is about the only thing.i have worked there for 28 yrs since RHI took over the quality of product has dropped

    bad upper management,lossing work because of management,treats workers poorly

    find someone who knows how to run the show

    I worked at RHI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    I had the opportunity to learn quite a bit about things I knew nothing of - refractories. We were mostly left alone at our location and it ran pretty well with minimal interference. Most of the time it was regular business hours, occasional weekend or holiday.

    Cons

    The salesman can be a bit pushy, but hey, they gotta deal with the customers. Production facilities and scheduling did not communicate with sales as effectively as they could have, and I guess vice versa as well. Pay was on the low to average side, but, that's what you get from a supplier to dying industry.

    Advice to Management

    Cut your salary and increase the worker's. Spend some time out in the field and in warehouses away from HQ and observe how things actually work.

    Pros

    Stable Work Environment, Good Work-Life Balance, Good Office Location and near to MRT access, Ability to travel within SEA Region, allows you the freedom to work Independently, Fine Dental and Healthcare Benefits.

    Cons

    No rewards for over-achieving employees, no 13th month bonus, Year-End Bonus Calculation Scheme is extremely limiting and does not properly reward employees, employee feedback on welfare is often ignored, Not much development opportunities if you are an employee outside of Vienna HQ.

    Advice to Management

    Learn to rank your employees better and pay those who put in more effort to achieve results instead of applying the same scheme across the board. Star Employees are not recognized in any form for over-achieving and this is extremely demoralizing, especially your Sales Force which is your only profit center.
