    Pros

    Benefit package is exceptional. Free tuition for full time employees and families. Seasonal hours let you "recharge" for the next school year.

    Cons

    Limited mobility. Not much chance to move around. The "Old Boy's Club" is alive and well.

    Advice to Management

    Flexibility and common sense are key. Make more of an effort to see everyone who works for you. Include more opinions in decision making.

    1. The staff is helpful when you start as a new GTA.
    2. The students are amazing and brilliant!
    3. The pay is good to sustain a student life

    Cons

    None really. This job is just great! You are never over burdened with this work, and you can always focus on your grad school classes.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good management! More grad students must be given this opportunity, as it provides a great boost to their confidence, helping them with their careers.

    Supportive community, clear about expectations, proactive about career planning and professional development, treats its staff very well, serious about maintaining a healthy, productive and sustainable workplace. Fantastic benefits, and very supportive of family life.

    Sometimes they buy into things (literally) before they ensure that the new products work best for our needs.
