I have been working at RJT Compuquest full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I think that the collaborative culture, and the fact that everyone there is so nice makes RJT a great place to start your career.

    Cons

The only cons I can think of would be that the office was far from where I lived.

    Advice to Management

The advice to management that I would have would be to hire more full time to keep the company fun and of a good size.

    Pros

The kind of pay salary on time

    Cons

    1. Not ethical in their processes.
    2. Treat employees like slaves.
    3. Few folks who deal with you are very unprofessional. They tell you all kakan bul stories.
    4. Pay rates are pretty low.
    5. They do weird calculations for your pay, you need monitor it closely.
    6. They don't pay medical for consultants but take big chunk of cut from consultants.
    7. They don't even bother to check with you or talk to you as long as they are getting their time sheets or invoices.
    8. They run the company like a mom and a pop shop.

    Advice to Management

Trust your employees and take care of them. Then you can grow easily.

I worked at RJT Compuquest as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

None compared to other consulting firms I have worked with. Having a project to work on is good. I liked the clients. I did get paid for all the hours I worked.

    Cons

Consultants leaving projects before the project was complete ( I think this is a bad sign). They try to juggle your time between clients without any concern for the workload. I have been doing Oracle consulting for 20 years and found their expectations unreasonable and not in the best interest of the client. I had to repeatedly raise issues with my manager but did not get the proper engagement from them. Team members were not held accoutable for their project responsibilities and more often than not left the project before completion.

I worked at RJT Compuquest as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Really is no obvious advantage that RJT have over any other IT Consulting company

    Cons

For a contractors perspective they are completely cynical regarding abiding by payment terms. My experience over a 5 month period was having to drive to their LA office every 2 weeks to sit in their finance office until they would hand over a payment. This was even for checks they claimed were in the mail but magically would appear back in a filing cabinet drawer full of other remittances which were being printed out but held back. Never once would they desist and pay without a visit from me. Literally I heard every imaginable excuse from the old chestnut of 'check was in the mail' through to no one being around to sign checks. My Indian colleagues on the project were too timid to force them to pay up and went months without payment. Will never work with them again!

    Advice to Management

Get some integrity and abide by the contracts you sign.
