I worked at RMF Engineering full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

employees are nice people and projects are pretty interesting

    Cons

Lots of overtime with very very little compensation. Lots of TALK about improving culture but no action. The People are not the assets and are "replaceable", everything is about profit for the division manager. Lots of turnover and false "opportunity". mechanical team is divided with poor/no leadership.

    Advice to Management

    practice what you preach

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at RMF Engineering part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Opportunities to work on new projects very often. Opportunities to get out in the field often. Very friendly and open office environment.

    Cons

Not the best retention rate amongst employees. Long hours but very frequent overtime.

    Advice to Management

A more balanced workload amongst the staff would improve the quality of the job.

I have been working at RMF Engineering full-time

    Pros

Enjoyable coworkers and big projects. Lots of opportunity for individuals with initiative willing to take on big responsibilities. Very young demographic

    Cons

Lots of overtime, little management involvement/assistance in project oversight. Individual workloads can seem unsustainable for month long periods. IT difficult to work with and outdated computers/plotters. Most projects are done by interns/co-ops.

    Advice to Management

IT should not run the company
