I worked at RPM International full-time

    Pros

    Free lunch and nice events

    Cons

Only the people at “corporate” were treated with any respect and made any money. Over paid executives while everyone else is grossly underpaid and overworked. I was asked if I was an intern almost all the time when I was a full time employee for years! Management is soo out of touch it hurts, and they promote people who don’t deserve it. Additionally, the companies they own hate corporate.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so out of touch and just listening to managers rather than employees, the only people actually doing work. Over working all the “low level” people not in corporate. Providing competitive salaries for all the horrible international travel to this awful companies.

I worked at RPM International part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Job was full-time and secure as long as you showed up every day, regardless of performance.

    Cons

Job was to call past due debtors of accounts sometimes many years old. It was difficult, stressful and not enjoyable at all. All my time was spent on an outbound automated dialer. Bonuses were present but essentially unreachable unless you took inbound calls. Extremely high turnover.

    Advice to Management

    Vary the job more.
