I have been working at RPM Mortgage full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible and personable working environment with lots of interesting challenges to keep your interest.

    Cons

Too many chiefs, not enough Indians. There is an overabundance of management with not enough people to actually do the work. Even so, there does not seem to be much room for advancement, nor much room for salary raises.

    Advice to Management

Management takes a really good interest in every aspect of their business, but the CEO should get more input from more of the employees to make more informed decisions.

I worked at RPM Mortgage full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly Co-workers, some supervisors are amazing, I can think of 3. Parking is pretty good. HR is friendly and available to help.

    Cons

Some supervisors don't know what they're doing. A LOT of favoritism, some people spend their entire day talking and one playing on their phones instead of doing their work accurately.

    Advice to Management

Please pay attention to what people in your departments are doing and correct their behavior, especially people that wear inappropriate clothing and are constantly talking, in other words, being disruptive. Mrs. Hirt, please pay attention to the people you put in charge of running your company, a weak link can tear down an empire. This place would truly be the best place to work if people went to do exactly that, work...and get paid well for doing it well.

    Cons

    Pros

Nice people, networked well with other lenders, believe in sustainability (paperless), evolving to meet demands

    Cons

They often furlough multiple sections of their departments at a time. They can call you back to work for them but if you want stability, it might prove challenging depending.

    Advice to Management

    Moderation in all things

I have been working at RPM Mortgage (More than a year)

    Pros

Professional environment. Supportive manager who focuses on professional development and training. I work with a great team of people who truly care about the quality of their work and the clients and communities they serve. I am allowed the flexibility I need to maintain a better work/life balance. There is an overall focus on creative solutions and innovation with a consistent effort to be better at what we do, both as individuals and as a company. I appreciate that I have the tools and resources I need to do my job.

    Cons

The benefits package is decent but not amazing. A health insurance package and a 401k plan are both provided but both could be better.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for genuinely making an effort to do the right thing for customers, employees and the company as a whole. There is always room for improvement but I appreciate that you listen, communicate with transparency, and help us to adapt to change with the tools we need to do our jobs well.
