    Pros

Great people, there is almost always someone there to help you when you have questions. They tend to usually work the schedule around other commitments that employees have except during during busy season

    Cons

They do not pay attention to problems that arise between employees and management at times and sometimes management involves itself in the problem and makes it worst. They are not big on seniority as the company has fired people that have worked here for more then 8 years. And it's a very repetitive job with little to no chance of moving up in the company

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the problems that people have in the comany. Make it easier for people to raise problems that they may be having by ensuring that managers act as managers and not trying to make problems worst for employees.

I have been working at RSA Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good location as adjacent to shopping centre with discounts.
    luas line access
    modern offices on two floors.

    Cons

    very set in their ways.
focused purely on bottom line and npt on employees.
canteen is limited so shopping centre is the only option. no microwaves.
long hours due to pointless tasks with no real benefit.
    lip service as to improvements

    Advice to Management

Focus on the sentiment and enjoyment of the employees first. this will translate into positive results commercially. ensure there is an appropriate structure.

I have been working at RSA Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Rsa finance continues to provide flexitime and some good benefits, opportunities exist at junior finance levels.

    Cons

Culture has changed and is anti-part time, flexible working isn't really an option despite policies to the contrary. Little opportunity for progression to senior management in Liverpool.

    Advice to Management

Employees no longer have faith in management due to continual cost cutting and failure to properly implement new systems. Suggest management focus on people rather than just the bottom line.

I have been working at RSA Group full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Not a zero hours contract firm. A good redundancy package although that is being diluted from 2018.

    Cons

Not a very good payer. Historically there has been a good benefits package but that has been watered down very considerably. Staff motivation is not what it was and there is an overwhelming expectation that redundancies and cuts are always on the horizon.

    Advice to Management

Stop the relentless focus on reducing the staff members standard of living. Expenses are a relatively small part of overall expenditure and if a £1k expenses saving results in a bigger indemnity loss, it's a false economy.

I have been working at RSA Group as an intern

    Pros

Excellent people to work with, flexi-time makes the time there much easier

    Cons

Interns are handled through an external agency which makes things a bit more difficult, especially for non-UK residents without English National Insurance Number and bank Account
