I worked at RSA Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work Life Balance / Telecommuting flexibility for working mothers/parents
Great employee engagement activities (socials, family picnics, bring your child to work day, etc).
Phenomenal training and development for hard and soft skills (development programs, leadership programs, fast track and graduate programs)
Excellent mentoring AND sponsorship of outperforming employees
Compensation was very competitive with the marketplace (but in order to retain and attract good employees it was almost a given)

    Cons

The company has been decimated to less than a third of its original size due to bad M&A deals from the top of the house.
Instability due to fragile size creates volatility in roles and future of employment

    Advice to Management

Buy out all the retirement aged employees and start training millennial's and investing in technology or else RSA will die within this generation.

    Pros

Good Team Ethics - decent shift patterns and very good chances of promotion within the work place - fairly flexible with time off etc.

    Cons

Team Leaders are poorly trained in people skills and confidentiality - the pay structure needs a good overhaul so that people are paid more fairly - pay structure needs more transparency.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people at the very bottom
