I have been working at RSI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Pay was always correct.
    Upper management very people friendly.
Company pays well on most projects and per diem.
Per diem is paid with direct deposit.

    Cons

Jobs are not plentiful in their area of expertise. Recruiters need a good dose of understanding. By this I mean at the end of a project, the recruiters need to give more than a too day notice (you are out of here too day)

    Pros

    Firm Parties, work life balance

    Cons

Tyrannical Management, Intimidating employees. Creating unrealistic deadlines. Inconsistent procedures which limit accountability and efficiency. Lack of procedures that are reasonable and capable of being done.

    Advice to Management

Treat all employees with respect and not manage staff by threatening and using bullish behavior masked by attempts at being genuine and sincere which erodes trust, morale and productivity among employees.

    Pros

Not a single pro i can think of!

    Cons

Terrible work atmosphere. This is one of those companies that show off their cafeteria and free goodies on your first day...because they have a lot to hide. You will never meet the top executives in the company, and your managers will be abusive. they also do not beleive in employee training...and your expected to work 24/7. from an IT perspective - security practices are poor, almost non existant. They keep minimal documentation- and the security personel answer directly to CIO. Bad practices all around. bad place to worK

    Advice to Management

You need to replace your executives first, then everyone below them.

I have been working at RSI part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You get to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. It can be really fun work, but it comes with it's challenging moments too. Wages have gone up since I started which has been really nice, and they have some pretty good employee rewards. Company has great values.

    Cons

It can sometimes be stressful work. Because the programs are staffed 24/7 sometimes you might have to work a holiday, but at least you get double pay.

    Pros

The staff is pretty young and energetic, many contests with incentives, fun atmosphere, not a lot of micro managing going on.

    Cons

Not a lot off opportunity for growth as it is a small company, have to desl with angry customers, no raises for a couple years now, not a great feel of job security.
