I worked at RSM full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Great benefits and best intentions

    Cons

As the company has expanded it has slowly abandoned it Midwest culture and core values. The IT department has been under questionable leadership since August of 2014, resulting in high turn-over.

    Advice to Management

Turn-over is a great method for evaluating the effectiveness of a manager/leader. There's no place for narcissism in management.

I worked at RSM full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The people at your level is friendly and the only reason why I stuck around so long.

    Cons

No work/life balance. If you are not part of the in crowd you do not matter. They will stab you in the back every chance they get. For RSM it's all about the money/profit and not about the people that actually bring in that money.

    Advice to Management

Stop just focusing on the people you like and actually pay attention to the people that do their work well.
