    I have been working at RTKL Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Nice people, flexible schedule, very little overtime and when overtime comes the hourly staff gets good pay, annual raises, good benefits, time off

    Cons

    The training the compensation and the culture the environmental and the professionalism are really excellent

    Pros

    Great people and projects.
    The office is small so there's a studio feeling. Managers make sure you're learning, and everyone is also happy to help you learn design/software tips and tricks.
    Good work/life balance, except for a few deadlines once in while that demand some overtime.
    Flexible schedule
    Health benefits

    Cons

    Salaries could be better.
    Project managers have different styes of managing which don't always fit everyone's personalities.

    Pros

    Support for innovative design and planning. One of the first firms to build an urban design portfolio.

    Cons

    Schedules were sometimes very aggressive, but no more than many firms. Work with developers sometimes resulted in greater downturns when the economy was slow.

    Great exposure to variety of projects. Many available resources. Technical training and assistance ensures that all architects or designers have access and ability to use innovative tools.

    Cons

    First week at work was very unproductive. Not clear who was assigned as my mentor/supervisor. No feedback concerning work performance.

    Develop orientation procedures to help new hire identify with RTKL culture and understand role within the office. Stuff like that.
