I have been working at RTN FCU full-time for more than a year

    Pros

No extra pressure to make cold calls, the focus stays on helping members with their problems.

    Cons

Might have to work on few Saturdays in a month.

    I worked at RTN FCU

    Pros

    Very dedicated Regional Manager.

    Cons

Incompetence for "Group Leader" and training program. Unorthodox ways to handle any issue or member conflict. Extremely cold an unwelcoming environment. Depressing talk about how company is run by its employees. Constant usage of cell phone an calls on business lines for non work related time by Group Leader. Very poor customer service standards. Low pay compared to most other banks an Credit unions

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at RTN FCU full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I really can't find any pros to working at RTN - I guess it would have to be the members that are the best part of it.

    Cons

Very poor management on supervisors ends and upper management. Part of a UNION...possibly the worst thing about RTN. The union will only protect the LAZY employees that are there.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at RTN FCU full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The ability to maintain a life outside of work was very easy to do. Lower level management was easy to work with. Training is provided with a dedicated training coordinator rather than at a branch. If you're in the union, you are protected.

    Cons

There are way to many bosses for the number of employees, and they give conflicting direction/information at every turn. Very little opportunity to grow outside of current position. Promotions are based on seniority, rather than actual ability. Union shop. HR is no help.

I worked at RTN FCU full-time

    Pros

They were very welling to teach you about how to process loans even if you didn't have much experience.

    Cons

They would not let you know things as far as if you will train people ahead of time or when there will be changes.
