    Pros

Well you get free Parking (If you get there early enough). Good pay for area. Good redundancy package if you take voluntary redundancy.

    Cons

Have been in a downward spiral for 3 years now. Cut costs by making staff redundant or or asking for voluntary redundant which means most experienced leave. Lack of experience means customer compaints and so company makes losses. So they look to costs again. And again. And again. Some sites have had three rounds of redundancies in three years.
Management talk the talk of wanting to hear employees opinions but if you say something they dont like then you are taken for the 'walk of shame' by your line manager.
'Encouraged ' to be agile by cutting number of desks at sites but server performance is so poor it was impossible to work from home. Had to sit with multiple people at agile desks.

    Advice to Management

Stop living in your ivory towers pontificating that we all in this together on a recovery plan and see what is actually going on.

I worked at RWE npower full-time

    Pros

Very flexible with all staff. Agile working is managed well.

    Cons

Disorganised. IT is behind the times.

    Advice to Management

Agile working is perhaps a hindrance. The different business areas in the U.K work independently of each other.

I worked at RWE npower full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible working, apparently there is a future move to agile across the business
    Excellent people
Easy to move around the company

    Cons

Very low salary compared to competitors
Talent is not recognised or acknowledged
    Very poor IT infrastructure
    Communications are abysmal
If there is a business plan it is never communicated so staff do not understand what they can do to support
No end to end view across the business
    Silo mentality

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people, they are by far the most valuable resource you have. Not all the contractors who are being paid a fortune and only have an interest in making more money, not improving the company.
