I worked at RadioShack full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

With little sales experience, I got a manager position within 2 years. That's largely because of the high turnover of employees. Take advantage of this, and learn as much as possible, and then move to a job that values you as an employee and the sales experience from Radioshack.

    Cons

Radioshack's systems and processes are antiquated, and any suggestions from the stores are not listened to by upper management. I constantly propose new processes and improvements to procedures, but I'm rebuffed by corporate. Radioshack is being killed on e-commerce by the likes of Best Buy and Amazon, so I'm not optimistic about the future of this company.

    Advice to Management

Get with the times: bring in new blood to upper management or else Radioshack will go the way of Barnes & Nobles.
