    Pros

I at least had a decent district manager for a little while

    Cons

Poor Pay, poor higher management. Not allowed to tailor your store to your customers. Spend forever so you can move a few planograms 3 feet down.

I have been working at RadioShack part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Cool items to mess with in store.
Have some cool stuff to sell. Not that many customers come into my store so it's sort of laid back. My personal manger is cool but others are not

    Cons

Demanding for low pay. Pretty much do task as of a manger but gets paid as a store associate. First off the company is kind of going out of business and you can tell. Forces you to push and sell their Ncredilbe headphones made by Nick Cannon. That's all they care about. That and batteries. Market managers call all the time and keep you from actually working cause they want to preach on the phone with you. It's just not a good company.

    Pros

I cannot think of many Pros. The commission was nice I guess since it boosted your pay check.

    Cons

Everything. The pay was crappy. Upper management sucked and treated their employees like crap.

    Pros

Manager really liked me, so gave me more hours

    Cons

Too much company politics. Competition amongst store managers and sales, & people always being fired (aka pressured into quiting)

    Advice to Management

If you treat your workers badly, then they won't want to work for you.

I worked at RadioShack part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good discounts on accessories, spiffs from mobile sales, Relaxed working environment for the most part.

    Cons

Terrible management and sales strategies, untrained or unmotivated, poor scheduling, understaffed.

    Advice to Management

Give your employees more coverage even when the store seems slow. The store cannot be effectively run by two people if there are more than 2 customers.

I have been working at RadioShack full-time

    Pros

When you are the manager you control the music and climate

    Cons

The perfoman ce requirements are issued daily and you are chastised and threatemed in front of the entire region via email and you get a write up for not seKlinger enough batteries or headphones.
You may be metioned on one ofor your good days and that is the reward

    Advice to Management

Show that you respect the people in the stores on the front line. Stop insulting and threatening their performance. Pay the living wage you promised all that stayed through a horrible stressful bankruptcy.
