I worked at Radisson Hotels full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Radisson is like family working together n the guest we book n meet from all over the world were a team pulling it together in my view of the beach nice..

    Cons

I really had no issues of down falls tho we all felt this was a haunted hotel n all friendly unknown but
It really in my book was the pay scale for what we sid n going above n beyond to please n make all guest at home away from home.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you do the great service of keeping a tight ship. And the ones that didnt really care just was there for a paycheck and addressed no issues and some complaints get out of this field and make room for us that can run a fantastic hotel to a 5 star all the way because we do care

I worked at Radisson Hotels part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent pay for the position. Pretty much left alone by managers during the workday and were free to go about our work in whatever way would be the most efficient.

    Cons

Management was an absolute disaster. We were routinely cursed out by supervisors. The work hours were also quite long, with us regularly working until 3am.

    Advice to Management

Learn to effectively communicate with your employees better. The results you earn are the direct effect of the way you treat employees.

I have been working at Radisson Hotels (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Training and support provided. They treat you well and get you excited about the brand. Run with service in mind.

    Cons

Hold the hotels to a lightly higher standard there is a large gap between the nicer hotels in the brand and the not as up to date ones.

    Advice to Management

Off benefit options to all hotels. An employee health program would be nice offering discounts at gyms or gym memberships

I have been working at Radisson Hotels full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The pros would have far outweighed the cons before 4/25/2016 but since then the hotel was purchased by shree Inc who are Ramada owners this is their first Radisson and have no idea how to run a classier hotel .

    Cons

We at the SLC UT airport hotel since April of 2016 have not been paid on time 2 to 7 days past payday i have been there 6 years the first 5 under the Woodbury Corp were wonderful we always got paid every other Friday without fail if the Friday fell on a holiday we would get paid a day or two early since April we are supposed to get paid the 5th and 20th that has never happened it's been more like the 7th to 9th and 22nd to the 29th when this happens people have been evicted from their apts or homes paid large late fees on car and other such payments we are told direct deposit is not available they do not offer paid vacation. Also I have personally worked many hours of overtime when I do finally receive a check it will have 90 hours regular time with 18 hrs overtime when by law it should be 80 regular and 28 overtime don't know how they get away with this but they do !! If you want fair treatment do not expect it here. I asked for a raise was told they would assess me and see what they could do I received a 25 cent raise 1 month later they hired a less experienced cook and started him at $1.00 more an hr than I make because he's a supervisors son not fair the moral at this hotel is so low that no one there smiles while at work without having to force it I could list many other cons but don't have the time or space . To sum it up unless you want to be treated like crap don't apply there

    Advice to Management

My advice to this management team is learn to respect the people that bust their butts for you not just worry about how much money you can make and what's you can gain don't forget those people are the reason your even making any profit !!!
