I have been working at Radisson Hotels full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People you work with, great benefits package, opportunities to pick up hours in other departments, care about employees with outings, commission when the hotel does good, free meal in break room for every shift worked

    Cons

Does not pay employees enough in any department, hard to move to another department, does not give raises, HR team very clicky and almost high schoolish in behavior sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Give raises to employees doing a good job without them having to ask for it. It makes them feel more appreciated and in turn they will work harder and won't leave the company.

I have been working at Radisson Hotels full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful people, immediate supervisors are amazing and will work with you. Pay is pretty decent.

    Cons

I have not seen a check stub the entire time I've been employed. Our paycheck is a "personal check" and bc of this you can't go to say Wal Mart to cash it.

    Advice to Management

Please get direct deposit and pay stubs

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Radisson Hotels full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice people to work with, met nice people staying at the hotel, quiet place to work, good discount on rooms

    Cons

Pay is bad. Expectations too high. Need more people. Dead end job. Sat down all day no movement. Boring as heck. If you go on vacation and stay at a company hotel you can't drink at all there. I get the reasoning but what's a vacation without a drink!

    Advice to Management

Higher more help or raise the wages.

I worked at Radisson Hotels full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some great managers to work with who will defend your actions as long as you did your job professionally and politely.

    Cons

Some other poor managers who would throw you under the bus or get frustrated when you were assigned several tasks at once.

    Advice to Management

Employees are individually just a single person. When multiple tasks need to be handled at once, please don't react as if your priorities are the most important. Sometimes employees have other responsibilities that need to be handled first.
