I have been working at Radware full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great CEO, nice and clean working atmosphere, IT - help desk is friendly and professional.

    Cons

I found out over the years that it's impossible to make friends in my department as there are too much gossips which is totally misinterpreted which effected my image and reputation which ultimately effected my position in the job in negative way.
Managers are more effected by start point of my career instead of my growth /progress and more effected by gossips instead of quarterly target results which showed steady growth.

    Advice to Management

To put more emphasis on the outcome / results and motivate your team mates instead of discourages your team mates.

I worked at Radware full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent Technology, excellent people supporting (i.e. Engineers, Architects, Marketing, etc).

    Cons

Radware is chaotic, sales strategy changes by the month, in fact there is no clear Sales Leader in the US. Terrible comp plans, pay is below industry levels. Upper sales management have no idea how to actually lead, they lead through self preservation. Kiss the ring mentality, must choose loyalties that align with which ever sales leaders is stepping up that day.

    Advice to Management

Replace the entire upper Sales Leadership in the US with new proven leaders to get you to the next level. To much self interest at play with 1 or 2 leaders suffocating the true potential of Radware.

    Pros

stable company, good at work-life balance.

    Cons

The company is suffering a heavy micro management culture that is suppressing talented young engineers to apply their skills and have an influence on the products.

the company suffers from a low brand name which is making it difficult to hire good people in the first place.

    Pros

DDOS product is second to none. Amazing detection and mitigation. Load balancers are good. Cloud scrubbing has a good story.

    Cons

They Brag bout selling to competitors which is killing the enterprise RSM. No loyalty to employees - keep unqualified and horrible sales and managers while forcing and even firing the good talent.

Channel is horrible and no respect is given there and brand awareness is huh what brand.

Drink the kool aid and make no money

    Advice to Management

There is a book about hope is not a strategy. Hoping that bad management will change on its own is not a strategy. Valuing a deal over a loyal employee is not good strategy. Hoping enterprise sales can sell against internal competition is not a good strategy.

Chop heads on top and bring in brand awareness and proven executive management before the stock slides more.

A couple of sales reps make $1M or close to it. The majority of the sales reps don't make quota.

    Advice to Management

It's not clear who's in charge in the sales organization.

I have been working at Radware full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Products and technology are second to none in the industry. Solid customer base in the DDoS space. Very smart though under utilized internal resources and product evangelists. Top level management is great, mid level is suffering.

    Cons

No sales and engineering/professional services alignment. Constant turnover. Company is very engineering driven, but only pays attention to the largest customers. There is a great deal of inside/outside sales team fragmentation, competition, and animosity which can deteriorate an organization from within. No brand awareness or marketing spend which leads to lack of customer access. No urgency to grow business, company seems to be stuck in a rut. Make sure any comp plan promises you receive are in writing.

    Advice to Management

Align Engineering/PS to each sales team organization so customers aren't suffering and leaving or looking at other solutions. Need better pre-sales engineering and post sales assigned to accounts for retention. Quick to sell and on to the next customer. Need more customer outreach, existing customers don't know what company does, let alone net new customers. Need more name awareness and access.
