I worked at Raffles Education Corp full-time

    Pros

    - I got out of it
    - I would have stopped typing up there but there's a 20 word minimum

    Cons

Let me begin by saying that 16% of the world population do not have electricity. You are one of the lucky ones able to read this review, so please cherish your good fortune and trust the reviews here (I regretted that I did not trust them and got into this mess). Reading the past reviews, I am shocked to realize how accurate they are when compared to my experience.

    - You will get blamed for the smallest things
    - You will get blamed for sending an email that the other party failed to check
    - People are very unresponsive when you request for information (and it's your fault if that happens)
    - Extreme sarcasm everyday (even when you do your work right)
    - Lots of rude people
    - These rude people don't get disciplined at all
    - There's a huge element of fear in the people there, very little casual interaction among staff
    - Do 9 things right and get 1 thing wrong? It's the end of the world.
    - They love to communicate via WhatsApp (making sure you are still 'connected' to work after office hours)
    - At last count, I have about 8 WhatsApp groups, (thanks to this company, I didn't know WhatsApp could create so many chat windows)
    - WhatsApp messages continue to come in after office hours and on weekends. I even received one near midnight. The tone of the other party was very matter-of-fact, as if there's nothing wrong.
    - These messages are usually written in a tone that demands your immediate reply and can be quite demanding / rude
    - Same tone applies for email
    - If you read this far and still decide to take the risk, I can only take my hat off you

    Advice to Management

Just concentrate on education and stop investing in properties. I didn't feel like I was working in an educational institution.

    Pros

Very pleasant colleagues, supporting staff, planned out policies on how to conduct assessments.

    Cons

Poor directing, unreliable payments, too low vacation leave which is not enough to go back home comfortably for more than 2 weeks.

    Advice to Management

Have related work experience, provide other forms of benefits for continuous development of staff

I worked at Raffles Education Corp full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

take anyone without aspirations who want to work for cash because climbing the ladder is impossible and office scandals are great to watch.
Depending on how you'd like to rate this as a Pro or Con, it is up to you.
Keep your eyes peeled, it's gonna be juicy

    Cons

Cons are similar to Pros and also, accomplishing tasks are difficult with so many red tapes in the different offices. Different bosses ,different requirements. Minimal office guidelines and then it all goes back to biased upper management. If you don't believe me, look at the other reviews.

    Advice to Management

sleazy and biased upper management, for realsies?
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
And another parting verse, 1 Corinthians 6:18.
    You are welcome.

poorly managed senior management, always short funded and refuses to send fund, local management have to deal with facing outstanding rental payments and payments to vendors.
Over promising to students, teaching staffs are selected based of nationality and not capability.
