I have been working at Ralph Lauren full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Very generous benefits for time off, leaves and sabbaticals. The company has strived to become more in-line with the trends for employye/employer engagements. They have a great team dedicated to learning and development and the IT team has shown great innovative improvements over some of the competitors in the field.

    Cons

Like all large companies someone get get lost if they dont apply themselves fully to getting engaged with higher ups. Turnover is an issue with some groups due to poaching our young talent since RL has been an industry standard for the fashion industry.

I have been working at Ralph Lauren full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Community, great brand, nice people

    Cons

Low pay, measly benefits, unstable working environment. There have been at least 4 rounds of huge layoffs over the last 3 years. It does not feel like anyone is particularly valued despite work ethic.

Ralph Lauren is a dynamic company that aims to stay ahead of the game while caring for its employees. Companies inevitably go through changes, so we appreciate your support along the way!

    "RL behind the scenes"

    3.0
Former Employee - Associate Manager in New York, NY

I worked at Ralph Lauren full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Employee discounts are very generous. Met some great colleagues. Learned a lot in my role and lots of classes available for self growth.

    Cons

Little room for career growth, moving up in title and salary. No matter how hard you work or prioritize your job. Which goes hand in hand with work life balance. There was none. The “Way forward” was all talk and sounded ideal but no progress really was made. Too many of upper management are old timers with their set ways. Working from home was stressful as VP was not used to this way of working. Constantly checked in via IM to make sure we were at our computers all day.
