    Pros

    I feel incredibly fortunate to work for a company that has uncompromising brand & customer service standards and strong balance sheet. RL supports development & growth and embraces diversity & inclusion. Recently released strategic plan is strong plan for long-term success.

    Cons

    Matrix can be complicated at times. Retail industry is high pressure!

    I have been working at Ralph Lauren full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The biggest pro for working at RL are the unbending core values and family oriented culture which make this a very warm, welcoming place to work. It is a very large company with many opportunities for growth and development. Direct contact with higher ups. Fast paced environment. Great work life balance as a corporate employee (for me at least - and most other teams I've come in contact with).

    Cons

    Decision making can be slow, and at times, not made at the lowest level which can compromise efficiency and demotivate staff level employees. Certain areas of the company can feel somewhat siloed off.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to uphold the core values of the company. Work on fostering innovation by staying ahead of the changes, not behind.

    The spectrum of diversity we see or our store has given me the chance to work with people from every walk of life.

    Cons

    As a brand that is so widely known it can be difficult to work with customers who all have different ideas of what styles and types of merchandise we should be carrying.

    Early and consistent communication is key.

    I worked at Ralph Lauren part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good hour and a flexible skechrule. They give you a 30% discount and you have benefits even for part timers. Its a good place to work at.

    Cons

    More than once you will have to stay late to close the store up and there is a lot of work.

    Advice to Management

    Rise up dalaties , you ask too much for 9.75$ an hour. And you should have more discounts for eployes.

    Pros

    They are willing to accommodate my hours for school.

    Cons

    Management needs work. They only hire part time associates, meaning only preschoolers, retired people, and a few college students.

    Advice to Management

    Have a turn around if the manager doesn't fit the bill.

    smart, innovative and passionate employees who care about the brand and the company's future. challenging work that has an impact and can lead to great leadership visibility and recognition. be prepared to work hard to drive your own career forward. strong executive leadership team in place to support growth.

    being flexible is key, priorities are constantly shifting. technology is improving but is still very outdated. there are many manual workarounds in place that cause simple work to move slowly.

    continue on the strategic path forward. employees believe in our heritage, our future and our Company priorities. invest in technology to improve infrastructure and support cost savings.
