Number one is the people. I have met some of the most amazingly, talented people. I've had the privilege to work and be a part of one of the best teams retail has to offer.

I have been working at Ralph Lauren part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Customers are nice to work with. Product is sometimes nice. You can make your own schedule for the most part

    Cons

Disorganized, unprofessional, unrealistic expectations, no training, no communication. No recognition programs. Customer gets better discount than employees and no matter how hard you try there is never any feedback on how you are doing.

    Advice to Management

Upper Management should spend more time in stores training and less time on vacation.

I have been working at Ralph Lauren part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The discount is okay but it is getting worse and worse in terms of what can be done. Will soon be a con

    Cons

Managers aren't great. Actually pretty bad. Not good leaders. They just bark orders and wonder why things don't get done and the turnover is sky high. Will appear nice at first. Slowly becomes more passive aggressive then just aggressive.

Managers do not respect life outside of work.
