I have been working at Ralph Lauren full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Number one is the people. I have met some of the most amazingly, talented people. I've had the privilege to work and be a part of one of the best teams retail has to offer.

    Cons

People development is an opportunity for Ralph Lauren. By placing a strong focus and dedicating time to develop talent, RL can only make their team stronger.

    Advice to Management

Invest in talent, and always keep the mentality of people first

    Pros

    -GREAT discount
    -Organized management staff
    -flexible hours

This company is wonderful to work for, such an great group of people and I learned so much and helped me grow in my career

    Cons

Not a whole lot bad to say, the late nights are tough but some people loved it since there weren't any customers.

    Advice to Management

Upper management, beyond the store I would suggest to weed out the bad in the team before waiting

I worked at Ralph Lauren full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Better pay and benefits, more opportunity for advancement, and a more diverse workplace.

    Cons

More red tape. As a result, projects usually move slower and taking personal initiative to get something done without getting prior authorization is typically out of the question.

    Pros

The managers were awesome! Really down to earth hands on and gave excellent constructive critisizm. Felt like family! District manager was amazing to work with! I can't remember his name but he wore everything Polo!

    Cons

Holiday season was a mess!! The fact that you have to fold every piece of clothing in the whole store after the crowd comes and picks through it is a major headache whether it's busy or not!!

    Advice to Management

Hire more sales associates to come and clean and refold! Hire associates just for refolding!!

I have been working at Ralph Lauren full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

An amazing organization that is constantly adapting to grow and find new and innovative ways to not only support the business, but continue to support employees as well.

For example, employees wanted more vacation, better benefits, new programs, etc. The company delivered increased PTO, better benefits, and an entire career development program. Upper management really listens to feedback on employee surveys and spends a lot of time, money, and effort analyzing the data and trying to make RL even better.

Great ways to get involved in community service.

A truly great company that makes you feel you are part of a family.

    Cons

Some of the office spaces are beautiful, and others could use some revamping

    Advice to Management

Great job of continuing to listen and adapt to employee feedback. You're on the right track!
