I worked at Ralph Lauren part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Laid back environment
Get to work with a great crew - Everyone gets to know each other and are very close to each other
Get to switch up your polo staff wear - Doesn't have to be polo

    Cons

Purchasing your own staff uniform. Polo attire isn't that cheap and took away from my first few pay checks.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up

I have been working at Ralph Lauren full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

the people, the discount, the culture and being a part of a bigger american picture in the fashion industry

    Cons

Pay is substantially under the industry norm, little upward mobility or facilitated conversation regarding career goals and trajectory

  8. "Sales Associate"

    Pros

I met the most amazing people. From the clients to my co-workers, they made me feel good about myself and I felt comfortable. The discount was great, we also got polo bucks when we did something different or bold. I really miss some of my co-workers and by me saying co-workers is not including the management team.

    Cons

There were too many managers on at once so it was basically cat vs dog. One manager had an idea, the other did not agree and it put tension on the floor. !!!!FAVORITISM!!!! If the management team did not like you, you would be in the back folding clothes for an hour, then cleaning the stock room for two more hours which *is not in your job title to clean the stock room* you could show up 5 minutes late because of the trains and you would still get written up. But then someone does not show up for a shift and ~everyone forgets about it~

    Advice to Management

Please fix how you act towards your workers. Dont act fake to them, don't lie to them, because it's clearer than day to see through it. Don't belittle your workers, it makes them feel bad about themselves and declines self confidence. The GM at my store was sweeter than pie and was the only one I liked. She knew how to sell and how to get us to sell. Don't hire young managers because they can't handle the game. They don't follow the rules and are huge hypocrites.

I have been working at Ralph Lauren part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The pay for an hourly associate is good and is above minimum wage. Also the people there are nice and it is easy to make friends with the other associates

    Cons

There are benefits that the company could get that would better help the employees but they don't. Also it is very hard to call off work or suggest a day off for an emergency, they Hardly take those request

    Advice to Management

Very strict with hours need to call of it seems months in advance for an event
