I worked at Randalls part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Friendly coworkers, flexible weekly scheduling.

    Cons

Minimum wage pay, treated horribly by managers and micro-managed. Being the only courtesy clerk on shift made it extremely stressful at times, especially around rush hour on weekdays. Rude customers, carryout service, collecting carts in extreme weather, cleaning dirty restrooms and store walks every 30 minuets all alone with no assistance provided (1 courtesy clerk per shift, even during busy times). Expected to do everything for minimum wage while being micro-managed and yelled at by managers.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like you treat your customers. Another courtesy clerk per shift would've helped a lot.

I have been working at Randalls part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-No matter what Randalls the people are always going to be nice so that’s always good to have in a job. Even the management is extremely nice.
    -flexible hours
    -relaxed environment
    -2 raises a year

    Cons

-Customers can be a little stressful to deal with sometimes. They need to be walked through what to do when they check out a lot of the times.
-Some weeks you can get bad hours due to lower store sales
-They only give time and a half on holidays
-Only employee discounts are 5% national brands and 10% store brands. They stopped doing free items each month in July.
