    Pros

They sign a paycheck every week for you?

    Cons

Management seems to operate under the delusion that Randall's is capable of competing with Whole Foods in terms of selection and quality. This is the main area of their focus, and they do nothing to focus on other areas of the business such as reducing turnover or employee wellness.

I have been working at Randalls full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The employees are friendly. I like working with the vendors and having control over my schedule. My work schedule is good, I go in early and get off early (5am to 1pm).

    Cons

They cut hours every week which doesn't allow employees the appropriate time to get their work done properly. Some full-time employees are getting less that 40 hour a week.

I worked at Randalls full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Randals allowed me to provide for my family. I got to know many different people as I worked my way up and I was able to rely on this network of people for advice and support.

    Cons

At the time of my employment, there was a huge focus to reduce labor hours, and often times, it was frustrating as a manager to not have enough hours to properly staff my departments. I would end up working long hours and come on my days off. After years of this I decided to return to school and finish my degree.

    Advice to Management

Cutting hours at store level will not solve the deep rooted inefficiencies that bleed the company of money. By impeding the stores with unfair burdens of increased work load and reduced labor hours, the image of the company and the customer experience will ultimately erode.

I worked at Randalls part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours and usually multiple other employees there to help you. Pay Increases every 6 months, if I remember correctly. Higher quality store so you get a bit less cheap customers.

    Cons

Customers tend to be wealthier individuals and occasionally tend to feel entitled. Most of them don't but there are some. Management can be flighty depending on your store. If you want something done, you basically have to do it.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. If they say there needs to be more bags ordered, but you think there are plenty of bags, you're quite possibly wrong. That is unless you're an on hands manager, in which case you are great. Also remember your employees are equals, not people to be treated as inferiors. But most of this is basic info.

    Pros

You get to work alone most of the time. Your schedule will be the same unless you want to work more hours.

    Cons

Certain managers can be cold hearted, crass & it's starting to get to the point of them being abusive. Managers that are higher up are actually pretty nice & undersanding.

    Advice to Management

Don't take your anger out on your hard working employees, give clear understanding.
