I have been working at Randstad full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Easy work, Good Bosses, Listens to your concerns, Depending on shift Great enviorment

    Cons

Too many chiefs, Budgets too much, Pay Sucks

    Advice to Management

At a old job we knew before each shift what needed replenishment. Everyone had radios to be able to call in any problem with warehouse, replenishment, battery change, RF Scanner problems or location errors. There is a lot of confusing things in this warehouse and can be fixed when things can be more organized. People leave because there is no hope for them being hired on. Most people have families and working for a agency is not dependable . When you have to work at a place for over a year or 3 years to get hired on then people will leave and work less.

    Pros

Company takes care of their employees with paid holidays and benefits even though they are contracted employees.

    Cons

Some of the employees here are toxic and it creates a lame environment. However it's easy to avoid it if you just focus on your job and do it well.

    Pros

    Money was ok I guess

    Cons

    They don't have any compation for your family members that have fallen ill. I missed days because my father had become I'll and they told another girl they hired in my place that I made it up and I missed 7 days, which I didn't. I missed 2 and left early to take my dad to the Dr. Didn't even write me up for missing....called and left a voicemail telling me not to come back. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!;;;

    Advice to Management

Have compassion for your employees!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is life that happens outside of the job!!!!!!!!!!! Be more professional...... please??????!

I worked at Randstad full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

--The company is huge, so there is potential to switch your career focus to other groups or maintain your job should you move.
--Female executives all over the company. Very refreshing to see.
--The CEO is incredibly smart and overall I have faith in those in the very highest positions.

    Cons

--I was a corporate employee, so I can't speak for those in field offices (recruiters/sales) but change is CONSTANT. Mergers, acquisitions, leadership changes...if you don't thrive in that environment, it can be a "con"
--The corporate culture ebbs and flows and people are fairly un-engaged in the corporate group. You know your direct team, but no one else in the office.
--The company is extremely complicated (many business lines, a thousand acronyms) and the corporate on-boarding process is not structured or formal enough. You watch a few videos and get thrown in.
--We are often too busy (or focused on reaching numbers for sales and recruiting) to actually participate in office events or read company communications.

I have been working at Randstad full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are a lot of work opportunities if you keep in touch with the temp coordinators. Reasonable pay, good hours, good experience. A lot of temp jobs can turn into full time employment.

    Cons

If you do not let them know your availability weekly then "out of sight out of mind", and you will not get notified for potential jobs.
