I worked at Randstad full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It is a great spot to learn if you are forceful about wanting to learn or can teach yourself, it is a step in the door, & most are friendly people.

    Cons

No understanding of procedures. Management is unsure of how to build strong shift teams. Hours ruin your home life. Slim hope for advancement.

    Advice to Management

    Get organized

I have been working at Randstad full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The contract position through Randstad was a good opportunity to work for a Fortune 500 company and improve the resume

    Cons

The pay is average to below-average

No PTO time or holiday pay is very difficult to manage for contracts that can be extended beyond 6 months.

    Advice to Management

Provide holiday pay for your contract employees. The life of the contractor is already not very easy, but getting paid for holidays would go a long way to help.

I have been working at Randstad full-time

    Pros

    Flexible work schedule, great people.

    Cons

Salaries not competitive enough compared to cost of living in the Greater Boston area, no company culture, constant budget cuts (which takes away from activities that boost team/ company morale), small fish in a big pond feel.

    Pros

Excellent job to learn how to assist Veterans all about their current and future benefits. I enjoy this job. The training that is in place is phenomenal. This means excellence in all aspects of the job.

    Cons

Challenges include very good training with a lot of training to make the employee their best to assist the Veterans. This is not a con, just a comment of - if you do not want training at its best for this job, think twice of whether you can serve our Veterans with excellence.

    Advice to Management

There is no advice to management as they are trained just as well as others. We all get excellence in training.
