    Pros

    We got paid every week.

    Cons

We had to fight over spots to put your name down each day so that you could work. They V T O people all the time when you first got to work. When all they had to do was send out an email or call you to let you know that it wasn't gonna be any work. We had to work a week straight with no off days.

    Advice to Management

Send out emails and contact employees if it's not gonna be any work.

I have been working at Randstad full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Local management was amazing, work as a team, good work/life balance, great training program, develop strong sales skills

    Cons

Benefits are lacking, upper management (Senior VP) is sexist and constantly demeans the team.

    Advice to Management

SVP in MD area needs to work with multiple offices and learn to treat women with respect. It felt terrible to walk into the office everyday knowing that I was working just as hard, if not harder, than the guys around me and bringing in more $$ for the branch, and I would be treated poorly while the guys were recognized for minimal effort. Local managers are amazing but can't do much to offset how terrible senior management is.

    I worked at Randstad full-time

    Cons

Management and the way they do business with Contractors and Companies

    Advice to Management

It’s not all about money all the time. Once in a while it’s about human decency

    Pros

Great People, I have learned a lot, very fast paced learning environment, weekends off

    Cons

The pay is a little low for all the things weareexpected to do, thr desk is more thana level 1 desk, but we get paid a low level 1 salary on the contract I work, It is not that way for all the contract that they have, just the one I am currently on...

    Advice to Management

be willing to pay better to keep the goood techs

    Pros

    Cons

if you get hire permenant and maybe realize is not a fit after been there. and you call back to ask them to start looking again for another job they might call your boss to find out whats the problem.. which is a total of privacy violation. and never call back base on the lie the boss told.

    Advice to Management

You first priority is to your employee.

    I worked at Randstad full-time

    Pros

Ability to gain exposure to multiple industries and work remotely

    Cons

Silo into roles you excel, many members of mid-management are tenured from prior acquisition organization and lack skills thus delegating responsibilities. If you do not brush shoulders with the "right" people, your career will never advance.

    Advice to Management

Overhaul the staff from legacy Spherion. Many of these TDM's do not possess the skills to be successful and instead rely on the Recruiting staff to get the job done.
