I have been working at Randstad full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Company takes care of their employees with paid holidays and benefits even though they are contracted employees.

    Cons

Some of the employees here are toxic and it creates a lame environment. However it's easy to avoid it if you just focus on your job and do it well.

I worked at Randstad full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

--The company is huge, so there is potential to switch your career focus to other groups or maintain your job should you move.
--Female executives all over the company. Very refreshing to see.
--The CEO is incredibly smart and overall I have faith in those in the very highest positions.

    Cons

--I was a corporate employee, so I can't speak for those in field offices (recruiters/sales) but change is CONSTANT. Mergers, acquisitions, leadership changes...if you don't thrive in that environment, it can be a "con"
--The corporate culture ebbs and flows and people are fairly un-engaged in the corporate group. You know your direct team, but no one else in the office.
--The company is extremely complicated (many business lines, a thousand acronyms) and the corporate on-boarding process is not structured or formal enough. You watch a few videos and get thrown in.
--We are often too busy (or focused on reaching numbers for sales and recruiting) to actually participate in office events or read company communications.

I have been working at Randstad full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are a lot of work opportunities if you keep in touch with the temp coordinators. Reasonable pay, good hours, good experience. A lot of temp jobs can turn into full time employment.

    Cons

If you do not let them know your availability weekly then "out of sight out of mind", and you will not get notified for potential jobs.

I have been working at Randstad full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I cannot find any, they have one manager who is real nice in the Melville NY office, but if you cross them, she will drop your files

    Cons

You are only "WORKING FOR THEM" on temp assignments. If this is what you are looking for i woukd say they are ok, not so much for a full time permanent positions.

I have worked directly through them hiring and using thier temps, and had many qualified applicant's through them become full time, but when i needed them and the position did not work out, i heard notging more from them on several positions i qualified for, and needed assistance further.

Dont upset them, you will be blackballed to gain any response on any needs of your own for employment

    Advice to Management

    Nothing
