I have been working at Randstad full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I've worked for a few extraordinary leaders throughout my tenure.
    Linda Galipeau is amazing!
Intellectually stimulating and you can make this job as challenging as you'd like.
Big focus on supporting growth with continual opportunities for upward mobility.

    Cons

Corporate has forgotten how to be successful on the ground level.
Huge disconnect between top leadership and the ground floor.
Expectations are unclear and constantly changing.
Company mission statements have no connection with branch employees.

    Advice to Management

Take time to understand the field again.

    Pros

They always have work for people who are reliable, etc. They provide benefits. Mandatory sick leave for MA. They've always been very responsive to any issues I have.

    Cons

It takes a long time to get benefits, and the health insurance isn't great. No vacation time.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

You have great recruiters who are willing to place potential employees with great employers.

    Pros

Great people seem to really care .benefits good ..seems like great company to work for long as u do what is asked of course..non judgemental of looks as in tattoos piercings..puts trust in you

    Cons

.doesnt know the criteria of internal issues..especially when comes to life choices they dont compromise or listen to the facts..also not equally fair..if several people get certain access and one new person gets the equipment hooked wrong and without chance gets access took away that effects living responsibilitys.
All cause uneducated superiors who dont care to listen ,,,was to good to b true

    Advice to Management

Update home based internet qualifications..new advancements are available. temps and employees are not being heard because superiors are uneducated on advanced technology and ignore the facts..really needs to be looked at

    Pros

Work location is good in Irvine by the airport

    Cons

I would avoid this sinking ship of an office at all costs. The upper management, is completely phony. It is obvious they are two faced and really have no clue what they are doing. I've never seen so much turnover, or lying in my life. Nor have I seen people act so unprofessional. And with new executive management at the helm now, I can only see further destruction to this pathetic office in Irvine, and to Randstad Professionals across the country. When new executive management joined last year people in high profile positions started getting fired left and right. When I started it was great, and it felt like a good team environment to build something together. There is no loyalty with these people and anyone is expendable. Top producers across the country are fleeing. I would flee as fast as you can if they want to interview you. They seem desperate to hire anyone because people keep leaving or getting fired. I have seen multiple people get fired because they didn’t produce at a high level immediately. Run away from Randstad Professionals! It is a sinking ship! They share an office with Randstad Technologies, reach out to them. They actually run a very good show, and are very successful. Randstad Professionals is full of UNprofessionals. Bunch of clueless phonies! Run away! I would never recommend working for Randstad Professionals in Irvine. The upper management is absolutely terrible and phony. I am shocked they still have a job, because it is very hard to see any value they add.

    Advice to Management

Stop being phony, and figure out how to actually add value to your employees and help them, rather than throwing them to the wolves, expecting them to produce a high level with no experience, and then firing them and starting over. Try to maintain people instead of turning your office over constantly.
