I have been working at Randstad US full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Solid work life balance, very nice team, interesting work and incentives to help drive the group to goals. Strong community

    Cons

Nothing specific, everyone is motivated and willing to help/train the ones who want to improve. If you're not driven and self sufficient you won't thrive here

    Advice to Management

Really nice people, pleasure to work for

    Pros

Great place to learn the IT staffing business. Adequate training depending on your manager, and decent commission plan.

    Cons

Standard massive company culture. You're treated like a statistic instead of a person and there are no perks outside of being able to make a decent living. Senior leadership is an absolute mess and there's a huge lack of communication between the various business units.

    Advice to Management

Allow your individual offices to operate independently instead of forcing the same company culture, requirements, etc., and making everyone feel like a number. Not every market is the same, and there needs to be flexibility to adapt to always hanging markets.

I worked at Randstad US full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If your only motivation in life is making money, Randstad is for you.

    Cons

Very sleezy company. I worked at Randstad for two years. All that Randstad cares about is the bottom line. They have no interest in people, internal or external. Very much a micromanaging atmosphere. Must work long hours. Positions are classified as exempt, when they should be nonexempt. Managers coach their employees to work against each other, rather than work as a team. There is a lot of bickering that goes on internally, lying to clients, etc.

I worked at Randstad US as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly staff and very responsive to returning calls or being available for questions. Organized paperwork and email notifications regarding available benefits and timecard submissions. Very easy to submit weekly timecard with electronic deposits.

    Cons

Not proactive in providing client feedback, and always had to ask. Twelve month contract ended early after only 6 months due to client's budgetary concerns around annual business plan, even though I accepted the position contingent on a full time offer. I made the agency aware of my concerns 3-4 weeks prior to the termination however they acted surprised when the client terminated the contract on a Friday with no prior notice.

    Advice to Management

Encourage better communication channels and support with contractors so we don't feel left out in the cold.

    Pros

Strong synergy partners in Sapphire, Randstad, Clinical One, and Hri. Being are part of the #2 staffing company in the world has given us leverage to pursue and acquire large international accounts. Excellent leadership. I feel inspired to perform my job as they actually do what they say. They give us the autonomy to do our work and support us 100%.

    Cons

Although there are a few locations that need more name recognition, I think that goal is going to be achieved this year. Especially with the help of Randstad.

    Advice to Management

Keep encouraging us and we will continue to grow! Thanks for the support!
