I worked at Randstad US full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The training is great! They have a very well thought out training program with includes webinars, testing and role plays. They do invest a lot of money in their training programs.

    Cons

I worked for Randstad for 2 years and was promoted twice. Within the two years I had 7 different managers. I continually asked about turnover and it is a well kept secret. Turnover with Randstad is over 70%! The daily metrics of doing both sales and recruiting are overwhelming and less than 2% of employees are able to meet their metrics. With this being said, Randstad wastes no time in letting people go for no reason! I saw multiple employees come to Randstad after leaving great long term jobs just to find themselves let go by Randstad before hitting their first year mark. They do not care about their employees but more about making money and the bottoms line!

    Advice to Management

Listen to your branch level employees as they are the bread and butter of your organization. This is where the highest amount of dissatisfaction and turnover occurs!

I worked at Randstad US full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good amount of hours at times

    Cons

Recruiters lack communication choose candidates based on favoritism

    Advice to Management

Communicate with employees dont hire anyone who doesnt meet requirements. Seen tons of people come and go in my job including ones who been there for a while due to poor communication. It sucks when theres people with no diplomas taking others jobs because they're in the "process" of getting it. Also trained and worked with others who have little to no experience in the field but would still land a job because they knew the recruiter. I was eventually let go for an excuse that didnt make sense when I was by far the longest one in the position. I just thought it would never happen to me since I would always do what was told. I just hope someone addresses this problem ive been throught other recruiters and never had a problem I wish no one has to go through this because of a poor recruiter.
