I have been working at Randstad US full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Randstad offers great benefits as well as advancement and development opportunities. I have had the opportunity to travel, take management classes, and network with employees all over the country. Successful recruiters are able to make great commission in addition to their base salary and can hit six figures by their second year. The op-cos are small but they are still apart of a large organization so you have the best of both worlds.

    Cons

We are very metric driven. If you are not someone that is driven to hit aggressive numbers, this is not for you. It is hard work and expectations are high. I wouldn't call it micro management but numbers are transparent across the organization and management will push you to consistently hit your numbers but they will also get in there and help. This is not for someone that is not able to receive constructive feedback as there is a major learning curve.

    Advice to Management

Screen out people that will not be a good fit for this position faster because a bad apple spoils the bunch and we have had under performers stick around and make the atmosphere negative for others.

I worked at Randstad US full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Decent pay and decent benefits

    Cons

The harder you work, the more work they give you. No work/life balance. Extremely stressful. Micromanagement. Tons of paperwork; lots of meetings and training which leaves little time for actual recruiting. Some of the Managers talk down to employee's.

    Advice to Management

Treat employee's better; they are more than just money making machines. Talk to them like the professionals that they are; not like they are 5 year olds. Show a little thanks for them when they work 14-16 hour long days.

I have been working at Randstad US full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Dallas Office - Large Company with a Small Company feel. I love progress and change and this company is all about it. So much potential, if you are driven and work hard the sky is the limit. I have been here for since 2015 and have been challenged, rewarded and stretched and learned things that I will take with me to grow personally and in my career. That is the best environment I can ask for. Benefits are great - Stock options is a great perk! Presidents club trips - lots of fun competitions, and regional participation.

    Cons

Really the only thing I see so far is more emphasis on local branding.

    Advice to Management

More marketing at the local level
