I have been working at Readington Farms full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

A good company to work for that valued its employees and strive to provide good benefits for them.

    Cons

You will not have a job if you don't adhere to company rules and regulations.

    Advice to Management

They should promote its employees based on merit not on individual likeness.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Readington Farms full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's a job. It pays the bills. Some of the people there are very nice. Benefits are good.

    Cons

Poor management style. Bad employee morale.

    Advice to Management

Try allowing employees to give upward feed back. It might help to know what needs to be corrected to fix employee morale problems.

I worked at Readington Farms full-time

    Pros

Excellent medical and dental coverage, 401k with 3% employer match, annual unused sick day payout, large percentage of employees with long tenure (>10 years, many >20 years)
Plant staff and drivers get annual cost of living increases in addition to annual increases.

    Cons

The hourly wage office staff does not benefit from cost of living or regular wage increases. Certain managers create a hostile work environment that upper management "turns a blind eye to".

    Advice to Management

I would like to see management implement a 360 review process. And then act on some of the good feedback.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Readington Farms full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Nicest people you'll ever meet from New Jersey to PA. Social skills will improve in this facility as you work within 10 feet of each other and share a small cafeteria. Convenient parking. Great benefits. Dental, Vision and Health. Constant appraisals and opportunities to move up.

    Cons

Some bosses need a hug and a beer. Certain people will stab you in the back to move up but that goes for all companies world wide. Bathrooms are small. Floor is always wet.

    Advice to Management

If people are still putting up with your attitude after 5 years, give them a brake and back off.
