I have been working at RealPage full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very diverse work place. Good work life balance.

    Cons

Still outsources a lot, even when the domestic developers tell management that it hurts more that helps. Salary is below market.

I have been working at RealPage full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Extremely positive, inspiring, creative, organized work environment. Very fast paced, and very innovative. The energy within any RealPage location is incomparable. I love the people I work with and I love the work that I do. No matter the position, you truly feel like you are making a difference in some way, some how. This is a company that CARES about it's employees and that is evident in how they go above and beyond to provide a comfortable lifestyle for anyone employed here. I can't speak for everyone, but my bosses are amazing. Highly skilled and very compassionate.

    Cons

The only con I would say is this environment is very fast paced regardless of the position. If you aren't performing as you should or are not on top of things, you will feel it all around. Organization and efficiency are imperative.

    Advice to Management

Keep being the compassionate and driven people that you are. Yes, this is a business but we are all human and everyone could use a little TLC every once in a while!

    Pros

Great people able to work from home on some days

    Cons

Constant management turnover, extremely slow to make changes that would benefit client and employee-rather more focused on just making the company money

    Advice to Management

Even if promotional jobs are open, the compensation to advance has to be the worst in the industry, not to mention your current manager will try and block you to advance to keep the numbers on their team

I have been working at RealPage full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pretty good product; Company has great ideas but can't seemed to get all the applications to 'play together'. If they can make this happen, this company will have the market.

    Cons

If you come in from the outside you will be making more than employees who've been working 60 hours a week - for almost 2 years. Got a 'Exceeds Expectations' but raise % does not reflect grade.

    Advice to Management

Take care of ALL your current employees not just a chosen few. Don't pay out to new employees and expect your old employees, who've been there for years, to train the news one who get paid more. Please stop blocking people from transferring to other departments. If you don't want them - which is what the raise percentages reflect - let them go. Extremely frustrating to talk to Recruiting only to hear you are 'frozen'.

    Pros

RealPage is a great company to work for. I am currently employed and I am about to have my eight year anniversary. Most other employees are long timers as well.

    Cons

RealPage has so many products, it is almost impossible to cross-train on each product in order to provide an overall positive client experience.

    Advice to Management

I personally have had very good managers even with all of the re-organizations that have taken place over the years. Other divisions have not been so lucky as management tends to play favorites.
