I have been working at Receipt Bank full-time

    Pros

Good place to learn and build expertise. Some really talented people around

    Cons

If you don't achieve your targets, no action is taken. Safe bet if you are a cruiser, looking for a role where mediocre is good enough.

    Advice to Management

Be consistent, and communicate all the time, not only when you think it is important

I have been working at Receipt Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Amazing opportunities to develop your skills and progress through the company. I started off in a Junior new sales role but since then have done consultations/ account management and I now work in the onboarding team progressing towards a role in leadership - Countless opportunities to develop networking and presenting skills at different events. I historically hate public speaking but have been given the opportunity...

    Advice to Management

I've had three managers at RB as I've progressed through different roles, and all three managers have been amazing in their own right and all three have helped me develop my skills in completely different areas. My advice to management would be to carry on doing what you're doing! But as new senior members of the team join, continue to make sure they understand our culture/ values and how we approach management at...

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Receipt Bank full-time

    Pros

Responsibility, way past what is fair to ask of someone, especially without training or supoort

    Cons

Seriously wild west culture, so much nepotism, racism and incompetence. If you are not in the 'in' crowd you will struggle, as they will make it impossible for you.

    Advice to Management

Reward performance, develop some humanity, pay properly, stop exploiting graduates. Oh and pay the data entry slaves in India/Philippines a reasonable wage

    Receipt Bank Response

    November 20, 2018

Thank you for sharing your experience. This message was a difficult and shocking read for us, and we are truly disappointed for anyone to leave the company with this impression. We are a fast paced, scaling up company and we don't always get things right. Nevertheless, we always aim ...

    Pros

People, growth, collaboration, innovation, career-opportunities, inspiring colleagues

    Cons

It can be high-pressured at times

    Advice to Management

The constant focus on empowering people creates such a professionally rewarding environment. There is a real feeling of ownership and accountability and that allows you to get the best out of yourself (even if it can be daunting at times). The SMT is always available and approachable and this is a key thing to maintain moving forwards, especially as we add more and more new people to the business. There is a clear...

I have been working at Receipt Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

People are brilliant, hardworking, enthusiastic and love what they do, all of the people here are willing to do what it takes for the business to be successful, they care about their partners and fully buy into the Receipt Bank way There is a lot of new faces which is exciting, it shows the business is going fast, lots of experience coming in, not just in sales but across the board, Receipt Bank is certainly a business...

    Cons

Some of the people that manage the people are inexperienced and think they are owed a living, I have heard my manager on a number of occasions moaning about her job, which doesn’t fill me with confidence, plus I don’t want to hear it, they blame everyone else for the decisions that are made and never take the accountability themselves, which personally makes me feel they are weak.

    Advice to Management

Those that have been around for a long time are the ones that aren’t stepping up, not sure why, as the place is an exciting place to be working.

    Pros

    - A young, vibrant fast moving company that's constantly changing and growing. - They have a big focus on personal career development - A very fun company if you're a graduate - It still has a 'start-up' feel so you're opinion and input is listened to and you have the opportunity to make a difference - Strong female leadership team

    Cons

    - There's a cap on progression and salary within Partner Success and Account Management - Not enough employee/company perks - Could be more client-facing - Not enough holiday
