I have been working at Receipt Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Strong growth mindset for staff development and company goals. There is a close-knit feel to the teams and a welcoming atmosphere by the broader team in Australia. The fast paced growth provides a lot of opportunities to expand your skill set and try new things, calling on discipline and autonomy to drive success. The future outlook was never in doubt but is certainly improving as the culture shifts more towards service...

    Cons

With the fast paced growth there have been times that the direction of the teams were a bit disorganised and chaotic. Often times the product/team needs of the Australian region are harder to get prioritised due to the head office being located in the UK. Historically there was a culture of grow at all costs but this is now shifting back to placing the needs of the customer first...

    Advice to Management

Keep the current course, defining the values and operating principles has shifted the focus in a positive way. Growth and change management aren't easy, but a steady approach with a clearly defined direction and strategy feel like a recipe for success.

    Cons

Lots to do and not enough time to do it in

    Advice to Management

Keep sharing OKRs and keep giving us the opportunities to try new things - keep up the good leadership

SOCIAL -RBFC football team who train weekly and play in the London Fintech League. Great way to network with other companies in the space and games are always followed by a social afterwards. Whether you’re a player or a supporter, there’s always ways to get involved! Fun football socials such as bubble football! -End of Quarter parties for the entire office. Think 40s themed party on a ship in the middle of the...

-If you don’t like working in a fast paced company then this is not the place for you. Things will change regularly. The joys of working for an agile company! -Expect a baptism of fire (but in a good way). From day one you will have responsibility and will be expected to hit the ground running. There will be lots of “on the job” learning and you will be expected to do the...

I have been working at Receipt Bank full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I stumbled upon Receipt Bank while on the grad job hunt and I'm very glad I did. Although the firm is just over 7 years old, it is still very much a fast paced working environment with a start-up mentality. Receipt Bank are currently going through a rapid period of growth and the opportunities to grow with the firm are very exciting. This is something that you can capitalise on, if you are prepared to put in the work....

    Cons

My expanding waistline due to the unlimited amount of baked goods and snacks! I haven't experienced any cons as of yet. I'm really enjoying every aspect and look forward to coming to work everyday.

    Advice to Management

The management team are very approachable and more than happy to help, even with the smallest of menial technical queries. The feedback culture is brilliant so keep that up. Quarterly reviews and 1:1 catch-ups give you focus and are a constant reminder that you have a goal to work towards.

I have been working at Receipt Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Company is rapidly growing & constantly being recognised (FutureFifty, Series B funding of $50 million, awards) - First job since my university graduation & I'm constantly learning on the job - Startup culture allows you to have inputs in the company (e.g. workflow, processes, opportunities etc) - Young & small group in the Sydney office allowing you to be constantly part of the rapid growth & see the results first...

    Cons

    - Not really a con, but due to the fast paced environment changes occur regularly & anyone is unable to easily adapt will be left behind

    Advice to Management

    - Reminding the wider team on the bigger picture (end goal) regularly as it can get lost during the day to day work
