I have been working at RecordTrak part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great it you are looking for part time work and need to set your own schedule. No weekend or holidays!

    Cons

High turnover. No opportunity for advancement. Difficult to get hired full time and may take years to move from temp to permanent. Salary is not competitive for the area. Training is not sufficient.

I worked at RecordTrak part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule. They'll hire anyone and let you go in a week, once they determine you can handle the job.

    Cons

Very superficial training for the amount of knowledge required. Pay is not commensurate.

    Advice to Management

Move on from the take it or leave it attitude towards your part timers.

I worked at RecordTrak full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Brainless work. They provide cheap soda and pretzels. People are nice even though the company is majorly flawed. They also have gormet food.

    Cons

I was hired temp to hire and I lasted 5 months. Without any warning I was laid off due to "budget cuts." I was told by HR that they were in the process of hiring me. I was blind sided and let go an hour after I finished work. This company will let you go in a few months. If you are hired by a recruiter and told that you'd be hired in 3-4 months, don't believe it. They're lying to you! The company will use and abuse you. They won't hire you. RecordTrak will start the cycle all over again once they're done with you. DO NOT WORK FOR THEM!!!!!

    Advice to Management

    Don't be so unethical!!!!

I worked at RecordTrak part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

great job for someone fresh out of college or someone who wants to try out a call center/data entry job.

    Cons

hard to get full time and benefits

I worked at RecordTrak part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay is ok, quiet office for the most part, snack machines are good soda machines are good and that's about it.

    Cons

Insufficient training, unprofessional and non-communicative management. You're on you're own after 4 days of training. It will be a challenge for you if you require even just a little help with learning a new computer system. Good luck!

    Advice to Management

Training period should be at least 2 weeks, so that employees can become proficient with your system and meet the job expectations you set. Otherwise you are setting everyone up to fail and become "rejects" that are sent to another department.

I have been working at RecordTrak part-time

    Pros

Lenient business casual dress code, soda machines are the cheapest I've ever seen, front desk receptionist is awesome, and plenty of bathrooms and always very clean, pay day is on Thursdays, and very flexible with the schedule

    Cons

Very little training, expects too much work with little pay, doesn't really go over the expectations of job requirements, and not willing to hire full time, they rather pay temps then to just have more permanent full time employees

    Advice to Management

Need to work more closely with new hires and what is expected of the position

    Pros

Free pretzels and a convenient location that is near everything

    Cons

The company works with a temp agency and they promise you a full-time job at the end of three months... However they use you until the very last day and then let you go with no feedback other than that your assignment is over. They then hire new temps and the cycle continues..they use you and then dump you. I do not Recommend this company unless you are seriously looking for short term temporary work.

    Advice to Management

Be more upfront regarding your hiring Procedures, provide my feedback, and give notice that it would be someone's last week or day.

I have been working at RecordTrak full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Quite easy to get hired. Very lenient dress code, a pleasant and laid back work atmosphere. The people who work there are for the most part very nice.

    Cons

There is a lack of solid training and for the most part. If you apply yourself and can learn your job through repetition and experience, you'll be fine. The benefits however, are not the best and pay rate is not competitive.

    Advice to Management

Be more involved with and supportive of your employees.
