    Pros

You get to work on your own and get a different experience every day. Hard work is rewarded, good benefits and bonuses. National company with plenty of options for relocation and advancement.

    Cons

Lots of change in the last 18 months with mergers and acquisitions. This has led to stalling of rate increases.

    Advice to Management

be more open and honest about whats happening with the bigger picture due to mergers. Employees hear alot of uncertainty about policy changes, benefits, pay rate increases etc.

I worked at RecoverCare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are some great people to work with. Enjoyed most everyone I worked with. Most days there is no supervision so you can do what you want!

    Cons

Management has no clue, very clicquish. No advance available unless you know someone. Hard work & dedicated doesn't payoff. The company hires outside temps and management off the street so you train your boss. Some bosses are cluless! Promote people who don't deserve it. It's seemed the bigger the screw up the person was the better the job they got. One person got promoted after being on their final notice for attendance. They have trainers who have no clue what they are doing! No invetory available for the customer. No understanding of any procedures, Don't see a future with this company . Double standards ! Two faced , others will stab you in the back .Then there are others who sleep their way to the top!

    Advice to Management

Hire from within, actually have management who know the job. If anyone in management, not supervisors ,management would have to be on phones, research, dispatch, etc. None of them could do it or know how to work the system. Reward your employees you are loyal and prompt. You lost very good workers due to the lousy conditions you continue to let happen since the merger.

I worked at RecoverCare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You actually get to do some good by assisting with the rehab of the patient when you deliver the equipment. An "okay" staff.

    Cons

The company doesn't recognize or reward loyalty or consistent hard work. Warehouse management was extremely shaky, Very cliquish. They do not keep their word.

    Advice to Management

Recognize and reward the hard working employees. Good work ethic always produce great results. Be true to your word.....it carries a lot of respect in the long run. Make sure that when you hire peope for the warehouse management position, they are actually capable of doing the job all the way around.

I worked at RecoverCare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are really no pros other than they offer benefits, but you have to pay for them and they Lord the fact that they participate in price increases of these benefits to you as an employee.

    Cons

Management is cliquey, fussy, not focused on people that work and work hard. NOT-organized is a kind way to describe this company.

    Advice to Management

I do hope that regional and upper management reads these, but based on my experience they do not. (Otherwise they would change) My advice. DO NOT think this is a numbers game. This is a business that is made up of people. HARD working people that deserve to be recognized. They have a weekly letter they send out that is supposed to be uplifting. The truth is, I was recognized by customers 3 times for excellent service, and had to SUBMIT this to be posted in the newsletter. Regional Managers should do this, not the employees. Instead we heard, "your location is bleeding us dry in numbers" Wow, horrible, and wasteful actions by regional and upper managemtn.
