    Pros

I really loved working at recovery resources, the staff and even the clients were easy to work with and fun to be around, anyone there would be happy to help if there was a problem.
    Great Company!

    Cons

3% be nice to others and their situation... there is always that one or 2 people in the office, that will try to make it unpleasant for everyone, but it's only 3%, that goodness!

    Advice to Management

    Weed out the 3%

I worked at Recovery Resources full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Small agency, very close knit, lots of wonderful friends made, good supports, good benefits, close proximity to home, good starting salary.

    Cons

Some management was not helpful in a way that alleviated stress or burden of job/caseload. I felt that money was more important to management than the employee's job satisfaction or even quality of care for clients. Pay was not increased based on achieving a higher licensure which left little incentive to stay.

    Advice to Management

Be more respectful to the employees and do not overload them. Allow upper management to really see what the case managers and therapists do in order to have more empathy.

I worked at Recovery Resources full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I like the fact that the office and atmosphere was based on helping people and very friendly and relaxed, which made working there more enjoyable.

    Cons

There were sometimes slow days and days where the mornings were busy, and then nothing all day long.

    Advice to Management

Management was fine ... no advice.

I worked at Recovery Resources full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers were friendly. Work/life balance was pretty good. Compensation was decent given the industry, not impressive though. Health benefits were OK, which is odd considering they are a healthcare agency.

    Cons

Senior staff were under qualified. The organization does not follow through with goals and tries to take on too much without the professional knowledge to do so. My supervisor often criticized my work without being constructive and actually did not have a good success rate with their own work. Internally they are disorganized and underdeveloped compared to industry standards.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes simplifying your mission will provide better outcomes. Stop biting off more than you can chew.
