    Pros

Lots of learning experiences if you put yourself out there, strong team support and a work hard play hard mentality.

    Cons

Everyone is held accountable, there isn't much con to speak about.

I worked at Red Bull Media House full-time

    Pros

Great environment to work in. For working within the administrative side of the music industry, the pay is quite good. Benefits are good as well.

    Cons

Dealing with office politics is not fun. It felt more pronounced at RBMH than even at other music companies, which came as a surprise.

    Pros

Travel, Benefits, working on amazing projects that actually do make an impact.

    Cons

At first working here seemed amazing, however, you quickly realize this company is built on a foundational boys club with too many who are promoted for their relationships not performance or simply had their title changed. It is great to see they have recently started promoting more woman and hiring POC. Be warned though that woman will be held to much more stringent rules than men and will have less opportunities to advance. Women are also constantly doing all the work for their unqualified managers who do not receive the support they need to improve.

Numerous recent recent restructures have added to the challenges and not addressed the actual issues in the way they need to be. More specialized teams (ie: Sports, Culture) have been expanded to include people who do not have the expertise making it overly and unnecessarily challenging to get even the littlest tasks accomplished to the standards they should be - especially for a company with such big ambitions.

There is little communication or cohesiveness between US HQ, Business Units and Austria so everyone is acting on their own accord.

Its really messy right now, hopefully the new leadership will be able to turn this around. However, Monster is starting to take over and its causing a panic.

    Advice to Management

Take a look at the leadership, its stale and outdated.

I worked at Red Bull Media House full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent people overall, access to a lot of cool events. Heavy party culture from top to bottom. Not uncommon to find yourself partying until the sun comes up with your boss.

    Cons

Complacent people and vision from top to bottom. Most people talk about changing the direction of the brand, but nobody takes action. Everyone insists on "keep doing what works." A lot of older people point to the glory days as "what works." There is also a lack of alignment with counterparts in USA/Austria.

    Advice to Management

CHANGE! The brand is stale, the content is stale and the next wave of consumers has no interest in Red Bull as a product, brand or media company.

    Pros

Pay is good and minimal micromanagement. Flexible schedule as long as you get your work done. Very fun events and parties.

    Cons

Leadership indecision. Company is largely run out of Austria making it hard to gel as one unit and advance in the States.

    Advice to Management

    More one-on-one time

I worked at Red Bull Media House full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Award winning product built by a good team, then it went downhill form there.

    Cons

    Experienced leadership was let go.
New leadership is green and subdued to the clueless leadership @headquarters.
There is no more team, divas run wild and out of control.
Path forward is driven by inflated egos and/or fear.

    Advice to Management

Any such action would be an exercise in futility...
