I have been working at Red Experts in SAP

    Pros

Great introduction to the company. Very welcoming, buzzing atmosphere and a great work ethic as a first impression of the company. Management has been very consistent and informative about progression and development.

    Cons

Lots of content to learn and long hours (normal in this industry/position). As long as you have passion and persistence you will do well, Red gives you the rest of the tools necessary.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good job.

I have been working at Red Experts in SAP for more than a year

    Pros

RED is a great place to work, the environment is buzzing, motivating and inspiring. There are clear KPIs, expectations and guidelines. In a difficult industry such as recruitment, they provide excellent training, support and opportunities to grow if you are hard-working and driven. Last but not least, the people here are incredible individuals who will make your day fun and positive!

    Cons

The cons would only be the industry - recruitment. It is one of the most difficult industries on the job market, it requires persistence, thick skin, hunger for success and money, and constant drive to go on. There are lots of lows when things don't work out but when they do the satisfaction is priceless....

    Advice to Management

Keep on valuing your employee and investing in their development. Keep on tracking the best performers, optimizing the structure and making sure the company is operating on the maximum of its capacity.

    Pros

This is the right place to be if you wanna be a recruiter and do pure telesales. Best sales training you can imagine. This place is also great if university is not for you and you want to have a shot at making a six figure salary. Fun atmospehere, the place is buzzing. Awesome team spirit. Mark Warmerdam is a great manager!

    Cons

This place is great if you want to build a purely sales career in recruitment. However, do not expect to do much else. There is a high degree of micromanagement, you are measured only on the number of calls and deals you make. Yes, you learn how to sell effectively, but the job is not intellectually stimulating at all. Very monotonous. You are not involved in any strategic planning, you just sit and make calls all... day, every day. Holiday package was poor - only 20 days, when the average in the UK is 25. No health insurance. The turnover is insane. Also, when people left, management would hide it, and then get everyone in the room and announce it the next day when that person was already gone. Weird.... There was also this fake "always positive" atmospehere in the office, where you werent even allowed to say words like "difficult".

    Advice to Management

Great sales school, but need to be more upfront about the job during the interview. "This job is sh*t most if the time" is not the greatest explanation to a prospective employee and most of them will just nod and take the job anyway. Tell people upfront that 90% of them will not make the six figure salary that everyone keeps talking about, and in fact most of them will be struggling to pay rent. Explain to people... that this is pure sales and you will do the same thing every day. Give better holiday packages, even if is unpaid. The work is quite monotous so productivity will probably increase if people can take proper time off. And let people have leaving drinks with the team when they leave.

    Pros

RED is a place where you will be warmly welcomed by every part of the business. Everyone is friendly and happy to help you when needed. You get trained throughout your progression in the company, and this starts from the beginning with solid training sessions on SAP and SAP professionals. You also get mentored by senior consultants which helps you to become autonomous. The environment is buzzing and dynamic. They... often organise company events and incentives to make the job even more enjoyable. Although a sales company, there is no unhealthy competition, everyone works in a team to reach Success.

    Cons

It is definitely not a place for you if you are not for a buzzy environment, with hard work, and loads of interaction with internal and external people.

    Pros

We work in nice offices with friendly, supportive, international and fun people. The work is always interesting and never boring or repetitive, the whole company has a good buzz and despite the fact that there are offices all over the world there is a family feeling and everyone knows each other and shares a joke. This gets supported by incentives and events. Red really cares about its employees as long as you show... commitment and good work but they would also help and support you when you need it to get you back on track.

    Cons

Sometimes long (approving) processes with upper management. Unfortunately there is sometimes a relatively high staff turnover. The working hours are long with early starts and late finishes.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Red Experts in SAP full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Buzz, good commission structure, lots of incentives.

    Cons

Fake deals and stats, simply terrible management on the perm side, offensive language, going home on time is considered to be disgraceful and the new Associate director just doesn't know the company's policies. Unrespectful to clients and candidates alike, agressive pushing. Lot's of showing of in front of the CEO and Management to an extent that it looks crazy. Around 50% of the Perm team has left in 6 month time..., before that 10 people left in 10 weeks. Simply a terrible company. To be avoided at all costs.
