I have been working at Red Hawk Casino full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Red Hawk Casino is an excellent place to work. It offers tremendous opportunity for growth and training. Red Hawk is a family community. I retired a year ago from an amazing High Tech Company and started working at Red Hawk Casino. Red Hawk has proven to be an amazing company, one that works cohesively from one department to the next. Red Hawk leadership is driven as well as compassionate. I would recommend Red Hawk to the best of my friends.

    Cons

I have no cons at this time.

I worked at Red Hawk Casino full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I met some of the best people working there. Coworkers and guests. I had one of the best schedules I could have asked for as well.

    Cons

Communication was the biggest flaw within the Beverage Department. Sometimes there was no money to be made. Pretty high turnover for the Beverage Department.

I have been working at Red Hawk Casino full-time

    Pros

I've been working here for over 4 years and worked in a few different positions here. The benefits from this place is the closest thing to state job benefits. They allow opportunities to move up, as well as great dental, and healthcare. I have used the dental and healthcare several times and still haven't been disappointed yet. They also really take care of you here when you are pregnant, and afterwords when you plan to nurse. On top of that, free lunch! The HR department here is also very helpful and friendly.

    Cons

Sometimes the hours can really get to you here, but the harder you work and the more patient you are, the sooner you'll get to a time that suits your needs and doesn't put a strain on your family life.

    Advice to Management

You guys keep trying your best! Every meeting you have, helps organize us into a better and more efficient team! I am glad that you guys keep and open door to whenever we have concerns.

    Pros

I have been at Red Hawk Casino from the day they opened. They have great benefits, health insurance, 401K plan, paid vacation and a management team that listens to employees and encourages feedback from them.

    Cons

They need to build a hotel

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and continue to get input and listen to your team members.

    Pros

Decent pay, pretty easy work and working in a casino can be fun.

    Cons

Lack of management help, not a lot you can do to directly affect pay raises. They put burden of difficult tasks on those who aread good at their jobs and coddle those who aren't as good and never pushing them or requiring them to improve. It's very easy to get burnt out and the company doesn't give personal days or sick days so when you call in they take hours from your vacation and give you a point on your record so you get punished twice.

    Advice to Management

Push everyone to improve, don't put the responsibility on just the ones who can handle it. If someone can handle more responsibility then maybe they shouldn't be in that position.
