I worked at Red Lobster part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is a half off discount on the food while working and most days are no longer than 6 hours.

    Cons

The managing could be better and the restaurant is fairly empty at times besides the weekends. The food is OK.

    Advice to Management

The management should consider treating their employees better and not judge them off simple mistakes. This shows bad criticism and employee hospitality.

I worked at Red Lobster part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great way to make money during college! Staff was fun to work with and the ticket prices were enough to make good tips.

    Cons

As with any serving position, it can be challenging working with the public. Be ready to have your patience tested.

    Advice to Management

I liked the management. They were caring and tried their best to be flexible when possible.

    Pros

Family, they are truly a family. They take care of you. They want you to succeed and make the job your own. They foster your growth

    Cons

It can be very very busy. If you can't handle have twenty odd things going on at the same time then this isn't the job for you.

I have been working at Red Lobster full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Used to make good money but it has definitely gone downhill. I used to make over $100 on a weekend dinner shift and now I usually average around $70.

    Cons

Managers are terrible, rude, and overall uncaring where I work, money is bad as a server now, bad training, can't wait to move on.

    Advice to Management

If the gss ratings have been going down tremendously since you hired new managers, don't blame it on the employees. "People don't quit their jobs, they quit their managers."
