I have been working at Red Robin full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Red Robin is a corporate restaurant but gives you a lot of wiggle room on how to handle your restaurant. They understand that each location is different and genuinely wants you to find better ways to run and operate in this company.

    Cons

The hours for the management team are pretty long and the communication between the field and corporate office is pretty poor.

    Advice to Management

I would like to see better information released to the teams in the restaurants from corporate. Sometimes it can take 2 or even 3 different emails to get one point across. Not only is this frustrating and time consuming but it also gets lost in translation easily.

I worked at Red Robin part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Made awesome money as a server. Usually scheduled 4-hour shifts at a time, unless working a double. Loved the working environment and coworkers. Easy "outs" or end of shift work, stocking, cleaning, ect because of so many servers splitting the work. Company runs on teamwork, which is a plus.

    Cons

Management changing, changing hours or sometimes getting shifts cover was difficult
