I worked at Red Robin part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great work environment, good pay. As long as you know how to handle customers who are upset every now and again you'll be more than fine. I learned a lot about food safety, sanitation, and allergies; all of which Red Robin takes very seriously.

    Cons

Constantly dealing with allergies from customers and people trying to scam you for free food. You just have to stand your ground and be able to read if someone is genuinely upset or just trying to get a free meal out of you.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Worked at the company for a total of 10 years and loved every second of it.

    Cons

Their expectations of Management and employees are unattainable!!

    Advice to Management

To the stock holders. Ease up!! Mangers and employees alike can't hold up to unattainable expectations!! Ex: IYou can't hold the server accountable for how the cook makes the food.

I have been working at Red Robin part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

great food, good employee discount + family discount. coworkers are decent to work with.

    Cons

LOW HOURS. no matter how many times i beg them for more hours i don't get any. i only have this ONE job. and if given the hours i WILL work them.

    Advice to Management

STOP hiring hosts and give hours to the people that are currently hired in that position. and stop cutting shifts early due to "LOW" business. i have been cut early so many times just for business to pick up heavily 25 minutes later as im doing outwork and getting ready to leave

I worked at Red Robin part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If u want to be lazy about restaraunt sidework I definitely advise to do so. You will not be acknowledged for keeping the place up. In fact it's embarazmssing to have customers think that's your fault when you take over a section at

    Cons

They pay no attention to your availability will work u from open to close without a break & if u try to eat something during shift u get yelled at. I'm already a small person but I went from 120lbs to under 109in the past year from starving, working doubles & stressing from management threatening to get rid of me if I don't sell a certain amount of royalty memberships, Bev's apps & desserts,ECT so they can get their bonuses

    Advice to Management

Care more about your employees & you might get more effort from them naturally without having to threaten them

I worked at Red Robin full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Worked there for almost 2 years. Got plenty of hours. Some nice people.

    Cons

Management was terrible, and treats people like dirt,, they gave virtually no training. Expect a million things out of you at once and nothing is ever good enough.

    Advice to Management

Lighten up, it's just a job. Maybe this is a career to some, but for the rest of us, this job is a dime a dozen.
