Team is agile, enthusiastic, motivated and really smart. Tons of opportunities for advancement and growth and the product is doing exceptionally well. Management team is fully engaged and has a strong vision.

Great culture seems to be an "over-used" term in the Bay area, and often times really just equates to company growth and/or immediate leadership and compensation opportunities. Redbooth takes this a step farther by having a philosophy that seems to be echo-ed at all levels (from the ground level to the exec board). This philosophy hinges on growing as professionals, encouraging each other to do well, and... celebrating the organization's wins. Equally important, as the company has morphed it's offering, location, and leadership....it's always valued its employees above all (one of the sales reps has been here through all the changes and is as genuinely happy as he was when he joined) -- this was a big factor for me joining the company.

Cons

There haven't been any real negatives. It's a smaller company, so you aren't going to have a full service HR person on boarding you or anything. But that's about it

Pros

The CEO is super laid back and really welcomed me to the company, not only that, he's very savvy in the business sense and you can tell that the goals he has set for the company will be attainable with his work ethic. Coming from a bigger company exposure is in a way handed to you, at a start-up you need to pave your own way to grab people's attention and show them you are a quality product. The CEO is really... stepping things up and creating new opportunities and partnerships that will dramatically strengthen Redbooth's future. It is a really inspiring time to be a part of this company. From a team point-of-view, everyone is really laid-back and fun. They find a nice balance between work and play and there have been plenty of company and team events that help as stress-relievers and with team bonding as well. The team consists of a variety of ages and experiences but we all generally share the work hard play hard ethic!

Cons

Since its still a start-up, there is a lot of work that goes into being a part of this team. You need to make sure you find time to balance your work and stay on top of what is going on. I work in sales so you need to make your own success and this route may not be paved out for you. Things are constantly changing and we are continually trying to better processes. This is not really a con but I do want to stress... that working here isn't sunflowers and daisies, you need to put work in to see results, but hey that's sales for ya. :)

Pros

This is a hot market, we have a great solution and a great team. I love getting out of bed to come to work each day. Dogs, espresso bar and the killer office are just icing on the cake!!!

While other SV companies fill fridges with organic snacks and spend lavishly in the latest office design trends, we are a non-nonsense group of people that are building a kick-ass SaaS company. Working with an international audience in mind (and an international team) is a refreshing breath of fresh air from insular SF. Hot market space, top-tier solution and the ability to grow it are all part of a perfect... mix.

Pros

Everyone here is good at what they do. The environment is friendly and laid-back. At the same time, people work very hard. It's an ideal environment for someone who is self-directed and collaborative, and who values flexibility. It's also a great fit for early risers — lots of folks come in early in the morning, so there's not a culture of working late into the night. There are a lot of opportunities to grow,... develop your skills, and make a real contribution.

Cons

There's a lot of construction going on in Redwood City and sometimes roads are unexpectedly closed. Can make getting to work a little tricky some days.
