Great for Experience, not great for pay and work life balance
Feb 8, 2023 - Real Estate Agent in Chantilly, VARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
You have lots of training. You have managers available anytime to assist. You get customers from the company website. You have an internal CRM that does a good job of keeping track of your clients and prompts you to follow up with them. They have awesome benefits including health insurance and full reimbursement of industry fees. You have a team of associate agents to show houses, hold open houses, etc which allows you to work with more clients. Lots of great people to work with. Their events are incredible with food, drinks and entertainment.
Cons
There is a lot of stress. The company wants you to do a certain amount of transactions per month and they push you hard to get there. There are a lot of unnecessary meetings. You have to do things the company's way, they don't give you a lot of freedom to be successful on your own. They have metrics for everything which could be good, but they emphasize these way to hard, and will focus on a negative metric even when you are successful. While you have an adequate CRM, it is way below what other companies offer. Local management is great but they don't seem to have the ability to make decisions or impact the overall policies.

Great company that values its employees
Nov 10, 2022 - Real Estate Agent in Los Angeles, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- You will have tons of leads given to you and won’t need to do any prospecting. However, prospecting could increase your business even more - technology, CRM, and website are second to none - as an agent, you are an employee and held accountable through your metrics and conversion rate. If you don’t produce, you can lose your job (unlike a 1099 agent), which I believe is fair. For all the leads they give you (10-20 a month), you should be able to convert
Cons
- a bit concerning that the company isn’t profitable because they are focused on growth - seems like they have a lot of departments that aren’t necessary that could reduce company expenses. Would rather for the company to shed those departments and compensate the agents to handle those tasks. - in order to produce and make a good living, you will need to close 25+ homes per year. Which should be about a 10-15% conversion rate, very high.

Pros
Flexible, Salary, Reimburse agent fees.
Cons
Used to not be salsey but the company is now very salesy. Employees are micromanaged like crazy. They tell you how loyal they are but have no issue laying folks off at the first sign of economic falls. The magic with this company is gone, they are now like any other corporation, yet still in denial that they are corporate.

Loved the position not the trainer and being laid off with out a chance to shine
Oct 24, 2022 - Real Estate Transaction CoordinatorRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Remote work, good pay, positive work culture and coworkers. I liked my manager, they take good care of you when they lay you off, they have a great benefits package.
Cons
easily laid off without a chance to use the training I was given, management unorganized and my training was not thorough because the trainer was on and off because of his personal family troubles. I was not given a fair chance to succeed because of the trainer being unorganized and then blaming it on me.
