My team and department are fantastic and, for the most part, there is a lot of camaraderie across the company, and people truly buy into the company's mission. Individual effort is often recognized . . .

but not always, and there just isn't much of a growth path for some roles. There also seems to be some (a lot?) of inconsistency in who gets to move into management and leadership positions, with some people getting spots when there are others who are also (or are even more) interested and better qualified. Layoffs also saw some top performers let go over people on the same team who quantifiably performed less as well.

Always kept me learning more about the industry to better client experience and my knowledge base. Management treated me fairly and listened to concerns. Work life balance was okay and advancement potential was great. I went through three advancements while I was working at Redfin.
Cons
None really, except you need to be comfortable with the sliding commission based on your clients' reviews of you and their Redfin experience. If you don't like receiving constructive criticism from clients at all times, maybe not the role for you.
