I have been working at Reed in Partnership full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Genuinely great place to work and with supportive teams. The company has diversified significantly over the past years but managed to keep a common thread across all it's services and that is to change people's lives for the better.

    Cons

With some of the contracts being for the Department of Work and Pensions and Local Authorities, there is a common frustration on having to follow bureaucratic processes. That said, it's a small price to pay for working on projects which are supporting local communities in so many ways.

    Advice to Management

The direction and leadership taken in the current year is very well received. Stay on course!

I have been working at Reed in Partnership full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Wonderful team on the floor

    Cons

Staff turnover is horrific, people are pushed out if their face doesn’t fit under the illusion of low performance when other ‘preferred’ staff are untouchable, especially if they have a ‘special friendship’ with higher ups. Unrealistic targets, loads of sticks and no carrots. Totally run on fear.

    Advice to Management

Practice what you preach, we don’t love Mondays!

I have been working at Reed in Partnership full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great organisation to work for, as senior managers within the business we have both the time and scope to mold our contracts. We are trusted to do our jobs but at the same time know we can approach anyone within the SMT if we ever need any advice. Absolutely love working for Reed in Partnership.

    Cons

Nothing that springs to mind at this time.

I have been working at Reed in Partnership full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

I've been with the company for a combined 10 years (I left due to a geographic move and was very pleased to return). The company is committed to developing their staff members and like to promote from within - I am a testament to this as I started as a Business Manager. It is a high performance culture, achieved through collaboration and valuing the contribution that individuals make. It is incredibly rewarding to know...

    Cons

These aren't necessarily cons, but areas the company is focussed on: growing the business (so great that there should be more opportunities to join the company), being innovative, eliminating wasteful activity as well as improving ways to make it an even better place to work. All positive really!

I have been working at Reed in Partnership full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

For those that want to progress and perform well Reed in Partnership is keen to do what it can to support those people. They are doing lots in terms of developing the management academy and additional training for those that could be managers in the future. There is flexibility around working hours, work can come in peaks and troughs but you can maintain a good work/life balance and my experience has been that Reed...

    Cons

We do work on public sector contracts so opportunities for bonus is limited and while your salary is reviewed regularly (two salary reviews a year) increases aren't huge. Opportunities for larger salary progression are more likely to come with promotion rather than within your current role Opportunities for progression can be limited by geography, if you are in an area with only one or two contracts there might not...
